  1. Toledo's strength of schedule may be starting to show up a bit but man, this is a weird feeling for me as a sports fan. I really think the sky is the limit with this team. I've never supported a team in any sport that has done so much in such little time. These are special times. I keep waiting for that big disappointment and aside from a freakish night for Howard, we keep delivering. Keep it up Bulls, glad that Harris has found himself too.

  3. Yea, I'm allowed to ask questions during the postgame pressers. I typically allow the more established media members to ask what's on their minds first since they have important deadlines they're trying to meet. If they don't get to something I'm hoping to figure out, I normally bring it up later on. I'm always open to suggestions. That's part of the reason why I'm active on this message board is to see if there's anything that peaks UB fans interest.

  4. How can one not be speechless and impressed after that win? Total domination and team effort. It will be hard to expect this every time out but this is what we are capable of. And if its not Harris, its Perk or CJ or McRea or you or me. That's how deep we are. And Oats keeps saying the freshman are coming. McRea - Quiet night as long as he does the little things we are good. We don't need to lean on him offensively so anything on that end is an added bonus. Harris - Finally blew up. Hopefully he is over his minor wrist issue and this will be the norm. Graves - Continues to blossom as a Soph. Double double. Yet another weapon. His development is what we can expect from Segu and Williams from year 1 to year 2. CJ - Dang near triple double. From the tip he took the role of PG when Jordan went out with injury. What more can you say about CJ who does it all and stuffs the stat sheet. Jordan - Dodged a bullet his injury wasn't serious. Quiet game as a result but came back and played effectively. Perkins - Was strong inside and out. Hit 4 3s and showed some nifty moves in the paint. He's one of our few bigs and we need him to play big. Caruthers - Strong all around game just look at the stat sheet. Spark off the bench and not afraid to drive to the paint and boy does he finish around the rim. No fear. He throws down dunks so hard I fear he may hurt himself. Segu - I feel like Rondo is making strides every time out. His weaknesses are obvious but they are correctable. His future is bright. For now though his role is to steal some minutes throughout the course of the game for the starters and facilitate the offense. I think Oats is realizing that you can't have both freshman on the court at the same time (defensive liabilities) and the best way to get the most out of Rondo is to have on the court with the vets. Williams - Still raw. He seems to want to do too much when he is out there. Almost as if he is trying to justify his recruiting rating. His best days are ahead. But if he settles in and embraces his role he can be useful. His cutting layups were great, that should be his game since his jumper isn't falling so far. Work in progress but he is the future. As with Rondo. Fagan - Here is a guy who should get more minutes. I know it was garbage time the last two games but he seems to be effective around the basket and not afraid to rebound. Bertram - Happy to see him get a bucket. He is what he is. But great credit to him for working hard and embracing his role. So much for being speechless. Lets keep building for March. We don't wanna peak too soon but boy was last night something.

  5. I am trying to see how this will be for a match-up. I am having a hard time finding a spot where the Bulls might not be favored. Taking a look, Sibande (Guard) and Brown (Forward) are their two biggest scorers. I don't see them doing well against Jordan (hope he is healthy) and McRea/Perkins. They won't keep up with our transition offense. This might be a massacre. P.S. My thread was turned into the official Miami (Oh) thread. Momma, I made it.

  7. Thx again for providing another media avenue of coverage. Do you get to ask questions in the post game pressers (yet?). Don’t know how these things work. Since you promote here, can we give question suggestions?

  8. The title describes it all. I have Jeremy Harris highlights, video from UB's postgame presser and a recap article from Buffalo's victory over Toledo. LINK: Buffalo dismantles Toledo behind Jeremy Harris’ career night This is no longer a surprise but I was amazed to see all of the media present last night. In my previous stint covering the team for QCS and Bull Run, you would see one person from The Spectrum, a Buffalo News reporter and maybe a person or two from another local blog. Last night, there was at least two local television stations present (probably all three), two AP writers, a Buffalo News reporter, Trainwreck Sports/Bulletpoints founder, The Spectrum, Jerry Sullivan and myself. I'm not sure if I'm missing anyone. Long story short, the Buffalo sports media is finally starting to embrace UB. It was already starting to happen but you feel more of its presence when the Bulls get that type of coverage while competing head on with the Sabres.

  9. This is going to help us by the end of the week if teams keep losing and if we beat Miami. Could not ask for a better night for upsets elsewhere and a 30 point victory over Toledo.

  10. Great W tonight! Long time lurker/first time poster! Thanks Benny for the incredible spirit! Our Offensive efficiency is ranked #19 per KenPOm. Only one team since KP has kept stats has won the National Championship with an offensive efficiency over 30. That was UConn with Shabazz Napier 13/14. So keep an eye on that # as a gauge. I have other stats...I will find them in an article I read. Good luck to you! Your spirit and the vid made me create this account. I love all the insight the posters give here. Thank you everyone!

  13. What a game! Came out like gangbusters and went up 20. Then got a bit sloppy and Toledo got back into it at halftime. Then the flood gates opened. Holy Cow! This team is amazingly explosive. They scored 65 in the second half. Harris was absolutely afire! Carruthers again showed he’s one of the toughest players in all of college basketball. The defense was outstanding most of the game by the main 6-7 players. They rebounded lights out and ran like thoroughbreds. Enjoy this fellas! It will be very difficult to top this team. Let’s keep it rolling! Go Bulls!

  15. See all those smileys? I'm calm, and having fun. 😄 People bringing up bans (but not suggesting it), and upset over the 'f word'? They need to relax. 😛

  16. These are good conversations and there are always going to be varied opinions but we have to end with we just have to agree to disagree. I think it is time to say goodbye to anyone that has to start using the “f” word to try and make his point. Will continue to support our team at the mid major level with passion. Go Bulls!!!!

  18. Okay. Feel free to let me know and I would be happy to grab something and send it over. I am located in Buffalo and happy to do it. I travel to NYC sometimes and get extremely excited seeing people wearing UB gear. Happy to build the brand.

  19. Not looking for anyone to be removed from the site, but F-bombs are just not appropriate in any situation, let alone something like this.
