Yeah, but the year before (when Ohio was in it) there was only one extra game played--Auburn at Dayton. If teams think Buffalo is going to be good, they might not want to play them that close to three other tough games. Remember the game has to be played within a week of the tournament. Might actually be harder to negotiate a game with a good team. But if that's the case, it might be a good chance to get Towson or Missouri State to come to Alumni Arena!

That is a glass-is-half-empty perspective! I think this ride has been educational for all of us fans to understand the inner workings of the poll and how those who vote view losses. The bottom line is that the Arizona game, the early season success this year and the high-profile pieces (in ESPN and elsewhere) have given UB's season some "mass". Thus many voters have to overcome that inertia to move UB far after losses. Of course, each loss moves us in the wrong direction. While we have the Chips at home on Saturday, we do have two tough road games in Akron and Toledo after that. Once again, everyone wants to knock off the ranked team in their building. One at a time, though. Chips at home this weekend. Go Bulls.

Decided to do the preseason NIT instead.

Isn’t it crazy and yet exciting talking about seeds and top 25 rankings!!! All our family wants is for our team to play good, competitive all out effort basketball and let the results speak for themselves. It is till an exciting time to be a UB supporter and see the excitement level at an all time high!!! We see games all over the country where star players have off games so lets keep our positive vibes going for our players to turn it up a notch in the remaining games. Go Bulls!!!!

The only nitpick I have to say about Dontay is, he has turned the ball over a lot the last 5 games. Turned it over 6 times against Bowling Green. That stat has to go way down. But he has been one of our best shooters and defenders. And as a senior, he is stepping up. Time for Perkins and Harris to step up too.
