  2. If next year's team goes 20-11 will the arena be standing room only? Let's work on ensuring the team keeps winning so that the arena becomes a problem before we focus on all the shortcomings of Alumni arena.

  6. One other question about Sat’s game.Is TrueBlue working on getting more students to the 2PM game?? It would be great to see a loud and supportive crowd. I am doing my part as a season ticket holder and UB passionate fan. Go Bulls!!!!

  7. Agree this team has overachieved to some degree. Dillard and Hemphill were the only true frontline players from last year. All the other players have not come close to compensating for last year’s loss. Losing Dillard will leave a big hole in the rotation as far as scoring and assists. Unless FLJ can hit on a incoming freshman or a JUCO who can come in and replace Dillard all the momentum of these last few years will be lost. Such is life in college basketball. Go Bulls!!!!!

  8. I was concerned about this game. I was looking at the stats and the last few games from BG and they were very competitive and had 3/4 players that showed quick athletic ability and decent rebounding skills along with a promising first year coach. The story of this year is our rebounding weakness and our poor 3 point shooting. Teams know how to beat UB. Put unrelenting pressure on Dillard and rebound the ball. Inconsistent efforts by Hall, Wilkins, Morrison and especially Hamilton and with no presence underneath except for Hemphill can lead to very tough games. The CMU game just became more important with this loss and with a couple more losses UB will be in danger of finishing out of the top four in conference which means a play in game before Cleveland. Need a big crowd and student support on Sat to get a big time win. Go Bulls!!!!

  9. Nate has said more than one time in interviews that he wants to build something big here s long as the UB admin shows the same commitment. Talking about a athletic facility for basketball and the fact Nate and his family are happy here and with their home in Grand Island. As long as Mark Alnutt shows his commitment by giving Nate another raise I think he will want to stay, Nate has also said that all the money in the world won’t matter if you don’t have a winning team and culture and you have no fun in doing so. We need to keep this winning culture going. Go Bulls!!!!

  13. We need to do to Toledo what CMU did to us coming off a bye week, in the first 10 minutes...…………….then keep our foot on their throat. As for the one bid/two bid league discussion, I suggest that UB control what they can control (as in, win baby, win) and not fuss much over what is beyond their control. For some reason that approach always served me well :-)
