  1. Anyone see Texas Tech beat the #1 ranked team Louisville tonight? So you know what that means...If DePaul beat Texas Tech and Buffalo beat DePaul, then Buffalo is better than Texas Tech which beat the #1 team in the nation. Basically UB has a case to be the #1 team in the nation.

  3. Can you please go back into the cave you normally reside in. I literally never see you posting or contributing ANYTHING on here and whenever you do chime in it’s to talk smack to Kevin. You’re an adult, start acting like it.

  4. These bullfan-on-bullfan attacks are useless. Sure...call him out for saying things like "He's terrible at basketball" if you want (it was over the top), but you are naive if you don't think he meant for you to infer that it was in relation to some standard. I know there are some fans that tend to exaggerate in their frustration. I view it as passionate. We need as many passionate people on the bandwagon as we can get. There are always room for passionate bulls fans.

  5. TV Coverage: ESPN+ Radio: Tunein Live Stats: UBBulls.com The Bulls return home after a tough stretch (mostly) on the road and a big win against previously undefeated Depaul. I don't know anything about this Army team other than the fact that they're going to lose on Dec. 14th. GO BULLS

  6. Guess my attempt at humor failed on two fronts. It didn't derail the bickering as it seems more direct approach was needed; and it does not appear that it was found to be funny. I will be sticking to my day job!

  7. Guy I've posted more than 7,000 times here... I've not posted a lot this past year because, well, busy... I'm glad you're president of the kevin fan club and all but if you're going to say "do you ever do anything here" maybe, just maybe, you might want to look at my posting history.

  8. In the spirit of the holidays, here is my version of the Grinch (disclaimer - song is all in good fun, not taking sides and no offense intended, just trying to get discussion back on college hoops) You're a mean one, Mr. Kevin! You really are a heel You're as cuddly as a cactus You're as charming as an eel, Mr. Kevin! You're a bad chicken wing A true sour blue cheese meal! You're a vile one, Mr. Kevin You harangue Mr. Johnson and Grant You have all the tender sweetness of a bad sci-fi six foot ant, Mr. Kevin! Given the choice between the two of you I'd take the bad sci-fi six foot ant! You're a rotter, Mr. Kevin You're the king of hateful posts Your heart's a dead tomato splotched With moldy purple spots, Mr. Kevin! Ok can we get back to basketball, please?

  11. Sometimes a matter of wording is the difference between an agreeable statement and one that draws the ire of others. He's been playing terrible basketball is a whole lot different than he's terrible at basketball. Easy to agree with the first one. As far as the second, the coaches wouldn't have brought him on if he was a terrible player.

  12. We also don't need people who publish things, and fancy themselves journalist to run down the kids wearing blue and white just so that they can live out some fantasy they are the next Bucky or Sully.. My point was not to make a personal attack on the man but to give some background in the fact he will always run down one or more of our student athletes when they struggle a bit.

  13. What? I report it as it plays out. I didn’t attack the kid personally. I reported what he’s put out on tape since being a D1 athlete. You should go on the power 5 message boards if you think this is even close to bad or follow Mike Rodak. it also isn’t a 6 week stretch. It was the same play he put on tape at Houston. He’s a grad senior, not a 6 week freshman. Saying this about someone like Skogman or Gallion could be called out for “hyperbole”. i an not paid by or report to UB athletics/PR. A lot of people respect honest opinions.

  14. No, he’s right. It was a ridiculous statement. Grant’s been going through a rough stretch for sure, but to suggest a 6 week stretch defines someone’s ability is just irresponsible. Aren’t you like a reporter? I’d think there’d be a little more professionalism when it comes to discussing these players.

  15. I am not sure why, but watching Grant seems like I am watching a homeless man’s version of Carmelo Anthony. Maybe it is because I am a knicks fan and watched him for a while. Melo was able to slack on defense and play selfishly because he was one of the most skilled players of his generation. Grant obviously is not.

  16. Albany, Kent State, and NIU in the MAC Championship. Those are three blots on his resume. He would need to achieve a bit more here before he becomes an attractive P5 candidate. But what do I know, really?

  17. I’ll be disappointed with a 10-8 record in MAC play. We have too much talent to not go at least 13-5
