Well we finally wore the blue! Looked great I love those blue jerseys. Seemed like it was almost a superstitious thing until they lost in the black ones at Marquette. Don’t blame em haha but love that we got a nice blue W today

I still like being the dog though. Keeps players humble and hungry. Need to be smart with the ball and limit turnovers but still unafraid to shoot. Our shooting % was pretty awful against cuse for a while but just keep at it. Law of averages. Once they start dropping it’s lights out

I’m all for it as long as we wear blue or white helmets. I think I like the white helmets with blue face mask, blue logo, and stripe down the middle 🤞

I’m still really pumped. Getting out first win in a bowl game ever would be huge for the program. Obviously the MACC was upsetting but it’s time to cap off a historic season the right way. Anyone have any clue what jersey combo we will be using? I’m hoping either white helmet with blue logo or blue with silver logo and would love blue jerseys

Really love the effort. They’re a little raw still but that’s what being a freshman is like. Saw segu airball that 3 last night and just thought “rookie nerves”. I’m loving the talent though and as time goes on I have high hopes for both. Also segus energy on the bench is amazing

One game at a time for sure. Let’s give Marquette all we’ve got. Doubt we will make it through MAC play unscathed and I think that’s for the better. Give us a couple losses to stay humble and focused and not get too cocky. Then don’t lose in either tournament 🙂

Been having anxiety about this since we beat SIU Saturday. Can confirm. It just means so much to us. Truly believe we are the better team but in the dome and after that OD loss you know cuse is going to be amped up Glad we are underdogs. Extra motivation and more of a reason to not get cocky with our ranking

This kinda brings up a point I’ve thought about for a while. UB hasn’t had much sustained success ever. We had the football seasons of 2008 and then the Mack season but not until recently has more consistent basketball success. I’m thinking/hoping that people who went to the school more recently and go on in life to be more successful will have the means to donate back to the athletic program. I know personally I’m a graduate but still not really in a position to donate anything other than a ticket to a game here and there but fully plan on being a consistent donor once I’m fully in my career and have the means. Makes you wonder if down the road after some continued success could pay massive dividends. Or maybe one of us wins the lotto like someone else said elsewhere and they can just pay for the practice facility and digging up the track

I loved the bracketbuster games. I remember when I was at UB we had some of the best turnouts for those. Always a ton of fun and kinda guaranteed a decent opponent

Just keep the success going and the momentum will grow. Keep winning and more people will notice. Then we hope that some high schoolers who are invested in college ball notice and decide to come to buffalo slowly growing the student fan base and slowly making this a sports school. Let’s enjoy the success that’s happening and be patient as others have said. The dividends will come

So I take back anything I said about disapproving of playing a D2 team at this point in the season. Those of you who said it would be a tune up after coming back from Ireland were 100%. Very much needed to get back into the flow of things after the first half. LeMoyne also played lights out in the first half. Credit to them. Hopefully we are prepared for Saturday

Ugh I hate that arena so much. Such nasty fans. This is going to be a battle. Going to need to have an excellent game in both halves to come out with a W. If the Bonnies get on any kind of run without us nipping it in the bud it's going to get ugly. That arena gets any motivation and nothing will go our way. A win would mean way more to all of us than the credit we would get in rankings given SBUs slow start. Unfortunately I have a wedding literally at the same time which is sad and might have to sneak to the bathroom...every 5 minutes. GO BULLS

So if this is not an exhibition game even though they are a d2 school does this count towards our record?? On the espn app it has lemoyne as 0-0 because it doesn’t have d2 stats. Will this make our record 8-0 if/when we win?
