I'm cool with them saying this, but they've basically thrown us out the window for the way to early top 25 and I haven't heard a peep in how they see us shaking out next season. I'm not worried about all this, because I feel there's some benefit to being a power underdog, just think it's kind of funny.

I think TT being in the final says a lot about our loss. It shows that we lost to a team that too it all the way. I'm actually really happy to see Tech ho to the finals as it is a huge boost for our loss to them. I for one do not mind at all saying that our loss was to the national champion.

To slightly change topic, who do we think could be a good assistant for recruiting? I was thinking Battle might be a good choice mainly because of his background here and being young, along with bring a former player, might help inspire some kids to come play here.

You know, at this point, between Oats and Hodge, I'm ready for new blood. These 2 left in a really shitty way and I am definitely over them. It's like getting rid of an abusive SO. You can't see how you could do without them until they're gone and then you're like, "Holy crap, we could do so much better!"

Perkins just got a spot on the NABC game! That's the top talent in the country playing in a game! I hope this increases his draft credit. I'd love to see him, Jeremy, and CJ get drafted!!

This is a huge gut punch. I absolutely hate that this keeps happening to us. It is really hard to not get disheartened with all of this. I'm afraid that Segu and Williamson will go and some of our commits from this year might jump ship too. I really hope I'm just deflated from all this and that won't happen, but it's not easy to stay positive. I also really want to have Nate with all his positive talk about staying in Buffalo and loving the community. However he has done so much for us, so I really am fighting to just wish him luck.

These teams have come so far I'm seemingly such a short time. FLJ and Oats have helped propel UB into the national spotlight and hopefully will continue to do that for years to come. The recruiting has been top notch on both the men's and women's teams even when we didn't have any national notariety. It's all about finding those that fit into the system and isn't always about getting the best players in the country. Our players play such selfless and team basketball that it's easy to cheer for them, as we've seen all year. Let's also not forget the men and women behind the scenes that help our players do their very best on and off the court. Tutors, sports medicine personnel, managers, assistant coaches, and all the others I can't even think of. They are just as much responsible for all our success and should not be over looked. Here's to the many years ahead of UB and hopefully an eventual national title.

What a finish. All fight until the last horn. We took UConn to the brink, just couldn't get over the hump. Hell of a ride for the ladies. Can't wait to see another championship in the MAC next year 🙂

I'm all for baning these two "Bulls fans" Gotta love the fair weather fans that love to support when you're doing well and then pull a "told you so" when they lose. I really think there should be at least some decorum in our message board. I'm critical, but by no means less proud of what our guys have done.

I'm putting this up to remember that there was a time where we couldn't get past the round of 32. It was rough for us in the moment and felt like it was insurmountable, but we will prevail. It may take a few more years and that means a few more disappointing games, but we will get through.

Well, this is a really sorry way to end the season. Talk about going down in a blazing fireball. Still proud as hell of our guys. Absolutely the best season, just wish we could send CJ, Perk, Dante, and McRae out on a better note.
