Backwater

Hello everyone. I'm a UB grad - live 5 miles from Dartmouth, and I'm well familiar with their men's basketball team, though I'm more of a hockey/football fan. I was out of town all weekend and didn't check any scores. At noon today I turned on the local sports talk radio, and I almost sprayed my coffee all over the dash. That is all.

If by some small chance anyone is making the trip to Hanover, NH - let me know, I live 5 miles away - I'm happy to offer suggestions for restaurants, hotels, etc. Normally I'd have a spare bed at my place as well, but my kid comes home from college that day. Maybe I'll see you there!

I will now be a laughingstock at my work for insisting everyone tune in to watch the Army game and see how UB is up and coming.

Yeah, with not being able to leave until between 10-11pm and it being close to 4 hrs. to Albany - either way I'd be sleeping very little or getting to the game just on time. I don't make it down there that often - ideally I wanted to grab some Flying Bison on Saturday night and get a hotel. Not sure if I would have the gas left to do that and enjoy myself. Hey, I guess that's on me.

Ugh. Maybe I'll head down for another game. I'd need to leave around 3am.

Any idea when they determine the TBA start times for games? I'm thinking of driving down from northern NH for the Army game, but won't be able to leave until Saturday morning. A noon or 1pm start time would make things a bit miserable - it's roughly 8 hrs. to get there.
