  1. Let's see, #1 option is gone, let's run #2 option out of town and a top rebounder is gone too. Who's the option now for next year? The spot shooter? The 4th year big man who has averaged like 1ppg over 3 years? Sounds like a great plan running talented players off. Good thing we've been able to enjoy all of this winning this year, since next year will be a "rebuilding year".
  2. He wasn't like that last year. What's changed?
  3. Limit Adams' minutes and give them to who? They only suit up 8 guys. He'd be great to get rid of. Along with Sy and Jo being gone, we'll have quite the quality roster returning. We have 1 win this year, we must be looking for that goose-egg!
  4. Hopefully more triumphant than the last debacle of a game that you attended!
  5. You mean you're not entertained by this year's 2 win team?
  6. We Lost against a cellar dwellar. At least they appeared to move the ball at times. Could've won if they made late FTs. But I still wish I shared your optimism.
  7. Slow start, lots of game to go. Need to win the ones we're supposed to win.
  8. I figured less that .500, but this isn't regression, this is the bottom (maybe beneath the bottom) and completely starting from scratch. Honestly, starting from scratch would be better, as this coach has now shown that he can lose big game in and game out. This roster was flawed from the start, but it's not a 1 win roster. A better managed team would have several (still not tons) more wins. I feel bad for 1 of the staff members for sure. I'd wager he didn't anticipate this when he came here. It's going to be a tough final month to stomach at the AA.
  9. I mean, seriously, could he be worse than the last guy? We won so huge when he left on his own. We got paid for dumping an anchor. I think he will be a solid football coach. He may not be flashy and bring in a ton of style, but will teach the game and coach the players he has. I can certainly live with that.
  10. Well, at least watching the game at their place is watchable now that they have a new floor. Could you imagine watching those 2 teams play on that ridiculously unwatchable floor combined with the quality of play? I've never turned a UB game off, but that might have gotten me there.
  11. What evidence have you seen in the last month that backs up that theory?
  12. Best 10 minutes of the season, super 2nd half. Great win. Matched up well with Ohio. It helps having a coach who is intense, tough, and knows what to do.
  13. My statement gives the blowout win to the 00 team.
  14. The 00 team led UNC. This team was down to Robert's Wesleyan until like 4 minutes left in the game. Sy is way better than anyone on the 00 team (as much as I loved Lou Campbell). Adams and Foster is a wash, same with Jo and Alexeev. Vasiliev versus Sabol is a tough comparison, pretty tight probably, because a shooter is a nice thing to have in Sabol. The 00 team had 14 players. We currently suit up 10 (and likely down to 9 pending the ankle injury from tonight). Now let's match up coaches. A high school/ecc coach versus GH3. Well that's a blowout. Game over.
  15. Well, we were more recently ranked than we have been a bottom 5% team in the ncaa. Now we are the latter.
  16. This is like watching Delaware park basketball. It's seriously unbelievable that this is a recently ranked d1 team. These Ohio guys are having a lot of fun out their at our expense. We used to do that. Ohio opens up 2nd half with the weak side alley too. Oh how I miss having a coach that would run that play...every game.
  17. Why did they have to show that? Probably the worst feeling I've ever had leaving an arena, outside of being at the Malarchuk game.
  18. Unwatchable, sadly I will watch til the end, but it'll be miserable.
  19. Well, double 1 win, that equals 2. Last years team had more than 2 wins at this point. As bad as everyone made the last regime out to be (and they had their shortcomings), they were miles ahead of this crew. Sadly, we are saddled with what we've got, and right now that gives us a bottom 5% team in the country for the first time in 25 years. This upcoming schedule doesn't help either, @OH, home vs Kent...ugliness coming.
  20. Yet somehow that roster was at least .500. Now look at this current group, with the addition of Sy who is the best player of the bunch by far, and sitting on 1 win.
  21. I wouldn't bet on seeing any of them after this season. It will be interesting moving forward.
