  1. Have you seen Zach Wilson play? (Did you call for everyone at the Bills to be fired when he beat the Bills in a relief appearance?.) If Wilson an go in the first round, Snyder could make a practice squad.
  2. No, because the Constitution does not govern Title IX. Title IX is a statutory scheme that covers among other entities educational institutions that receive federal money. If a school gave out NIL money, they would most likely be required to do so with the proportions required by Title IX. A private entity that does not receive federal funding is not subject to Title IX. That means that Dunkin', that is currently running ads with a number of women athletes, can spend in any proportion they want to spend and Title IX would not be an issue.
  3. That is because a school cannot seek NIL money. It has to be sought by a private group (collective) and not the school. If the school raises the money it is a NCAA violation. A collective has been set up. https://ubbulls.com/sports/2022/7/26/ub-name-image-likeness-program-built-in-buffalo
  4. To Conference USA in 2025-26.
  5. It was the look of the track, it makes the stadium not look like "college football".
  6. I am calling BS on the stadium as why people are not going to UB games. I have decided against going to see any game because of the facility it was going to be played in. I have never gone to a facility and said that I am not going to see another game because of the quality of the facility. For all the people on this and other message boards or spying platforms (Discord for those of you scoring at home, or even if you are alone) claiming that the stadium has issues, I do not remember one person saying they were giving up going to games because of the facility, and yes I have gone to basketball and hockey games as well as concerts in the Aud. For those who complain about soccer lines on the field, have you seen a Patriots' home game recently? Soccer lines do not seem to be an issue for people in Foxborough. Also, how many people beyond these boards are complaining about the stadium? At most, and this is being very generous, there are maybe 15-20 people here who complain about the stadium. As for removing the track, I know it has hurt UB for conference realignment in the past, but look at other stadiums that used to have tracks. YOu can still see the make out of ht the track inside of them. For four schools, take a look at Ohio State, Maryland, Wisconsin and James Madison. If you look at the picture of the James Madison's facility in another thread, you can still make out the track.
  7. That is not his base salary. His base salary is less than Rodriquez. The figure includes bonus money related to going to and winning a bowl game last year.
  8. How many of them were urged by the higher ups at Alabama to look elsewhere after the off the court issues last year? Do I know? No. But after the program was thrown under the bus by Nick Saban, I assume some were.
  9. I bet a bunch of people in College Station wish Texas had the same restrictions on contract length.
  10. Since all contracts have buyouts if a coach wants to leave, I am not sure how an AD can not let them go. Also, would you want to keep someone working for you who has told they do not want to be there? Not affordable? He is making more money than he could have ever dreamed about when he was at Wisconsin - Whitewater. He is at around $5,000,000.00 per year.
  11. That will really draw people on a November night with a cold wind whipping in off of Lake Erie. A new Mistake by the Lake. So you think you have an answer for the November weather issues. What coach wants to finish a season with four straight road games when they would like a home crowd to cheer on the team in a crucial game for a division title or bowl eligibility? Road games are a pain in the butt for support people from equipment to medical to ticketing. Do you think they would want four straight road games?
  12. Witherspoon lost his first two games to North Carolina and Indiana. Hurley lost his first two games to Texas A&M and Niagara. Oats lost his first two games Division I games to Old Dominion and St. Josephs.
  13. Agreed. It seems to go in and out. Once I can connect to wifi it works but at times it's a struggle to do that. It is a campus wide issue. I have given up and have a hot spot that I bring when I am on campus for meetings. If you think Alumni Arena is bad for Wifi try being inside of teh stadium, even worse.
  14. Game is Wednesday night, rather than a Tuesday as the other three MACtion games are this year. Game time 7:00 EST on ESPN2.
  15. It seems like former UB Bulls just cannot wait to meet Zach Wilson. Malcom Koonce got in on the fun last night.
  16. Support the team: https://crowdfunding.buffalo.edu/g/athletics
  17. Because when the games are scheduled the teams are not that good. If a team wants to get better, schedule a game against UB. It has been happening for years.
  18. Russia must be a thing is Arkansas. Pat Summerall was a Russian History major at the University of Arkansas.
