John
A great game but a disappointing ending against a quality team. A crowd of 3,300 was great and I can only hope more of these fans show up for the remaining home games. Looks like UB will have to win the majority of their games to finish in the top four in conference. A very worrisome trend the last few games is we start off games with very bad first halves and have to fight to make a game of it in the 2nd half. FLJ and staff still have not been able to come up with a competitive 7/8 players other than Hemphill and Dillard. Dillard’s shooting %’s the last half of the year have been off and without consistent play from Onwuka, Wilkins, Jones, Hall, Hamilton, Morrison, Dickson the remaining games will be a chadllenge. It has been such a far cry from the last four years that this will show how good this coaching staff is in making coaching decisions. Hope more fans come out to support the team in the remaining games. WE have to enjoy the rest of this season and see a quality player like Dillard for a few more games because I don’t know who can come close to taking her place next year. Go Bulls!!!!! BullsFan14
The officiating that game was awful. Amazing effort in the second half.

Agree that there are many of these officials that have no business officiating college games and do they even have to look at their games to see how inconsistent they are???? Dillard was hammered going to the basket the whole game with so many missed calls and did you see the Dickson foul when she was hammered and laying on the floor and a foul was called on her, The woman referee was atrocious and right after that called a makeup call on CMU. FLJ seems to reached her boiling point and not sure this team can overcome the officials incompetence. Go Bulls!!!!

Even when captains went over to talk to the refs about the calls, they would motion for them to get away and not hear any of it. I thought the picture from the Spectrum article pretty much summed it up https://www.ubspectrum.com/article/2019/02/losing-on-a-technicality
promotherobot
I saw a lot of poor shots and dumb turnovers. Bravo for fighting back and gettng within 1, but the game was lost in the prior 39 minutes. weareub46
Tough loss. I missed a lot of the first half and you can’t go down by that much and yet buffalo still had a chance. A couple blown opportunities at the end but damn did CMU look good. Ice cold from FT line to close the game. Would love to see both teams in the tourney again.. BrooklynBull
Presely Hudson and Reyna Frost are two of the best players UB has ever faced within the MAC. The Reid - Hudson match up last year was so much fun to watch as both just loved playing the game and the challenge of going up against each other. Also making this a great rivalry is the respect between Coach Jack and Coach Guevara.

UB comes out cold and no real defensive intensity and with Dillard only in single digits in the first half. This late in the year FLJ still does not have an cohesive 7/8 players she can depend on except for Dillard and Hemphill. UB did not have anyone with the quickness and strength to match up to Hudson and Frost. when UB went to the full court press defense in the 2nd half that took CMU out of their offensive rhythm and enabled them to get back into the game. I have said before that the coaching strategy has to change with this group for them to have a chance in Cleveland. They need two wins on the road this week to still have a shot at the top four in conference. Go Bulls!!!!
