Had he been an A-hole with the same record with UB, this thread would be altogether different. Do agree. He took over UB at a terrible time and turned UB into a competitive team. He was respected and known in the area and that helped give him time to turn the program around. He was really a nice guy and in his earlier years was easy to talk to and always seemed to take an interest in the opinions of fans. He just could not get us to the next level and it is always for a variety of reasons. It is still better for the local basketball community if our local teams are competitive and have success in their respective conferences. Go Bulls!!!!
