This is so awesome! Huge for the program. 

Last thing I could ask for this year is possibly a men's player getting drafted like CJ

Last time I watched wnba with any regularity was back when Candice Parker entered the league. I'll be watching some lynx games for sure.

What’s the point of having a draft with multiple rounds then. They just outright released her. Don’t even own her rights. Then why bother having a multiple round draft.

I've posted this before, but the wnba is a joke. even top picks aren't guranteed a contract. max salary is like $115k (after 6 yrs). Last year's top pick signed for $52k/yr.

Roster size is so small and their careers are so long (this isn't football where you'll play for only a few years) that a lot of the draft picks don't end up making the team.

This is why WNBA teams can't even be mad when their star players get injured playing overseas in the offseason. Happens every year.
