Jeseph
Weren’t we supposed to dominate this team inside?
DooleyBull06
Needs some defense if we are going to pull this one out.
SGBull
Preston is killing Jordan.
SGBull
Just now, Erie County said: HE is absolutely working him today. What happened to his defense? My theory is that Jordan is being asked to do much more on offense which takes energy away from the defensive end.

UB85
The lack of awareness of what Ohio is doing by the off the ball defenders is astounding. Just played 24 seconds of great D then they fell asleep and let Preston walk in for basically an uncontested layup. I don’t envy Whitesell having to coach these guys on defense. And Williams is a weak defender. He has lazy feet. But his inside game is leaps and bounds better than last year. If he he can develop a pull up J of gets consistent in his 3 ball watch out! DooleyBull06
Can we play some got damn defense. Even a little bit and we win.

We aren't going to win much with them shooing 5 for 16 and 5 turnovers with 5 total rebounds I think Williams heard you.
BasketBull
Credit to Johnson. He looks like the player we wanted him to be tonight

UB85
Nice bucket by Johnson. But would it not have been better to give up the ball to a teammate for an uncontested basket. The man has glue on his fingers when he gets the ball.
DooleyBull06
Bad defense there by Graves then he compounds it by committing a foul

mikescherrer8
What a game by Williams, exactly who needed the ball there. Give the guy the ball with the hot hand.
SGBull
Great end of game sequence by our sophomores. Williams with a go ahead basket and Mballa with a nice block.
DooleyBull06
Big time win. Williams dominated the second half in the paint. It would’ve been a waste of a good offensive effort by Johnson and Williams but we got two stops at the end to seal it. Big win.
UB85
You’ve gotta be excited about Williams potential. Just a studly offensive performance tonight. However, his defensive game still needs to improve drastically.

UB85
Miami downed Kent tonight so only one MAC team still undefeated and that is Akron high school. They’re blowing the doors off NI. Turner has returned for BG so those two will be strong. It’ll be interesting for sure this year
Gxtrex
Kinda ironic we hit the free throw at the end that Graves tried to miss 2
UB05
Haven’t looked through all the posts yet obviously Williams had a great game but we need to give credit to Johnson for stepping up bigtime tonight
DocCas86
I liked the way they took better care of the ball in second half - thought those turnovers were going to cost us. What can you say about Williams development on offense. He is looking very comfortable out there. As for Johnson, let's hope he can build on this and be a contributor for the rest of year. Mballa added another solid performance with 9 pts, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. Looks like it will be grind 'em out most of the year, but good to come out with the win. Edited to add: I would be remiss if didn't acknowledge good performance from FT line 11-14 Edited January 15, 2020 by DocCas86
