Byron was on the radio this morning as I was driving into school and he mentioned that Reggie's father passed away this week.
I'm not sure if this has impacted the team/Reggie during the past couple weeks but hopefully they can get past this.

I'd like to say it was a good win for EMU, but I really believe that poor officiating kept UB off balance and unable to maintain any flow.  I will give EMU props for probably their best shooting percentage all season. 

I don't like being a fan that blames officiating but I really feel like that destroyed our game yesterday. To have all of our big guy rotation have at least 3 fouls is unbelievable. As soon as anyone came into the game they picked up a foul. Combine that with our guards not having a great shooting day and the whole team couldn't get in their groove.

Still can't believe we lost that badly to EMU. But after reading everyone elses thoughts on here I do feel better.

I hope that this loss sparks more focus and kicks off a dominating next month of play. I was hoping for 11-5 MAC record which is still possible but that means they have to go 4-1 against the east 2nd time around with 3 of those games on the road.

The EMU game is marked as a turning point to our season. One month from now we will say that the game kicked our butts to be better than ever or it was the start of our downfall. I hope for the first

I don't see why the big uproar. So he doesn't think UB is the best team in the MAC yet, not a big deal, it's pretty much a toss-up. You all can make your own MAC weekly rankings and put UB at the top, if you please. Nothing is stopping you.

I agree it's like people getting mad because ESPN doesn't have UB in the latest guess on the March Brackets when we all know the only ranking that matters is who wins the MACC.

But on the other hand it is pretty cool to see so many UB fans wanting (and thinking) UB to be #1. Can't say that anyone even cared the past 2-4 years

they did it so they could get out Thrusday night to get to ball state for that afternoons game.

even though it will kill attendence, its probably the right call.  you should beat toledo with or without a home court advantage.  its more important to get to ball state early so they can rest (and not just get in from traveling)

I like the idea that you can ask questions to Coach Quinn online if you can't be in attendance. With all this Buffalo snow tomorrow who knows if anyone will be able to show up.

Not much more to say right there. Very well put. For those that are lucky enough to know Byron he is one of the best student-athletes UB has to show off. His energy and passion on the court is amazing and it really gets the whole crowd into it. Glad to see him on the court this year and doing so well.

Let's help him leave UB with a MAC Championship!
