NCAA Football 2011

For anyone who is going to get the game, I figured I would make a thread for it.
The game looks to be the best NCAA game to date. Looking over Buffalos roster online, it doesnt look that inaccurate. I am going to raise Shannons, Means, and Winters overall a bit when I get the game but overall the ratings arent to bad. Who else here is going to get it?
Oh, and for those who do not want to look at Tim Tebow every time you play NCAA, here is a custom cover of Davonte Shannon that I had a buddy make. It looks really sweet and I would recommend all of you to check it out.

Being an old fart, I have never played the game. I do play MW2 with my son (who routinely pounds me at the game!) Is this a fun game to play?

From the looks of it, the game will be extremely fun and will proove to be the best football game out there. Not to mention, it is always fun to start dynasties with UB and build them in to a powerhouse.
And also as airman mentioned, the Season Showdown mode is fun, and it is a chance for all UB fans to show how strong we really are. Out of all the teams in the MAC, we had the second most players choose to support Buffalo. I see that number rising again this year.

I bought NCAA 2008 (I think... maybe 2007? was it that long ago?) and I was extremely disappointed. I'm pretty sure I went into it on here but it just blew my mind that they 1) didn't have all of the Div 1 stadiums 2) they had ZERO Div 1AA teams 3) the gameplay sucked huge beeffalo balls. These were three things that the PS2 version had, I was shocked since it felt like a game they rushed to get out, hadn't fully converted over to the 3rd gen system. Terrible.
I've been very encouraged by start anew designing that I'm hearing about NCAA 11. The presentation, the gameplay, the animations, all of it sounds like it has been revamped or retooled.
Did anyone have NCAA 10? Did they finally add all the stadiums? and all of div 1AA?
Did they expand the Dynasty mode any?

They do have all 120 stadiums within the game, and they all look very good. Especially the new Minnesota stadium that is opening up this year. They do not have any D1AA teams unfortuantely, and that has been something that a lot of NCAA fans have been asking for. With that said however, the upcoming NCAA has gone through extensiver renovations, starting with the presentation, as they have incorporated the ESPN presentation. The second thing is the gameplay, and it went through a big ovrhaul as well. The polayer movement is completely different, and this year it is not all about the speed ratings as it has been in the past football games. Agility and Acceleration are just as important now.
As to the dynasty, that too has been completely changed and iimproved in this years. First of all, the last NCAA introduced online dynasties where you could do a dynasty with your friends around the the world with XBOX live or PSN, whicever system you have. Second of all, in this years NCAA you can control your teams roster and recruiting all online via a website through EA. Third, they revamped the recruiting system making it more realistic.
Also in this years NAA, they are saying that every teams playbook is accurately represented so that every team in the game will play how they play in real life. For example, Buffalos playbook will be the spread, and it will run like the spread that we might see from this years team.

Don't be. Last year the starting quarterback was a white guy wearing #7. His class/height/weight seemed to indicate he was supposed to be Dennison. The game also had Jerry Davis (wearing #17) as the backup and The Quitter as the third-string.
Somebody out on the Internets will update the rosters just before the season starts and make them available for people to download to their console.

The rosters for NCAA 11 are already out, and are posted on the Teambuilder website. They are actually not to inaccurate this year, like I mentioned before. But still, most fans go in and edit the rosters to be more accurate.

I'm pretty sure I took that Davonte photo. Not that I care, but I was just wondering where you got it from. Though if you want to provide this broke college student with funds for using his photo, i wouldn't object.
Btw it looks awesome.

I found it on google images. Search Davonte Shannon, and then sort by large images only. It is the first pic that comes up. It does look very good

It'd make sense that it came from a blog post I wrote last football season.
