I'm bringing two buddies (both are named George.....George I. and George S.) to the opener against Rhode Island.  They're both pretty pumped about it.  George S. is trying to talk his sweetie into coming too.

George S. is the guy I do a fall road trip with; watch football Thursday night; golf Friday; watch football on Saturday.....drive home Sunday...........I think I can talk him into buying UB season's tickets soon!

George I. has been a buddy a long time and likes CFL........so I have him convinced to try NCAA, and UB obviously!!  His sweetie will be a tougher sell :-)

If we all brought two more people that would pump up the gate by a bit..................it'd be a start!!

I plan on attending at the NIU game with my cousin, and possibly a handful of others.

my friend and i have seasons.  we also are night school students at UB, but we buy the seasons to support the program.  for the opener we have assembled a group thus far of 22 ppl.  11 of them go to UB, 8 go tu Buff State and 3 are my coworkers who are out of school.  Every party we have gone to this summer we get more ppl talking about it and invite them to the opener.
The other night we were at a bonfire, sitting around a table and 3 guys sat down with our group.  All of them love UB football and we talked about our favorite moments of the past, and what were excited about for the future.  It was the first time ive ever randomly run into fans who knew as much as they did.  Theyre gonna come to the opener with us now.
If anyone on here doesnt have anyone to meet up with for the game PM me, were bringing my truck and grill and a ton of beer.  we'll have lots leftover and were trying to get an even bigger group.  lets keep up the good work and get ppl hooked on this!

I'll definitely be at the UCONN game if I can get a ticket.  Is the UB AD office selling any?

I know its a relatively small achievement, but I'm pretty sure I have my salesman from work, Tom, coming to the URI game.  He works out of Rhode Island, and his sons friends have gone there and some played there, so he has a rooting interest.  I know its just one person, but its at least one more paying customer in the seats.

I have six or seven women going to the coach's clinic!.  I do a tailgate every game in the lot where the bus drops off the players.  I try to bring 3 - 5 new people every week.  Everyone loves the games and some  have traction.  We went from 2 of us to 25+ now every week.

I understand the passion on the board to do whatever it takes to increase attendance.  I do like that UB is advertising Quinn on TV.  That will help.  I have seen billboards (with prizes if you text UB and then can markting to later) and advertising in the papers.

These are just not working, maybe this should be a new topic, but what does UB have to do to make this a must do experience?  To have this a sell out every week.  The people will come but other than a consistent winner, what does UB have to do to make it the towns third franchise out of five.  (1. Bills  2.  Sabres  3. Bulls  4. Bisons 5. Bandits)

Win consistently, bring in (and beat) big-name teams, get TV contracts, keep ticket prices low, and make sure every man, woman, and child buys a concession item.
