Just spoke to the UCONN ticket office.  Right now only season tickets are being offered.  Individual game tickets go on sale August 11 with an average price of $35.  However they did say that a block of seats are being set aside for the UB athletic department.  Anyone know if and when UB will make that block available to us?

Thinking about making the trip from Buffalo. Crash at my house in Albany Friday, leave early Saturday to meet up for a tailgate.

2 hours from Albany to the Rent.  Nice easy ride in for the game.   

Just heard from the ticket office. There will be seats for a UB section available. Don't know when since UCONN has not released them yet. Plus there will be a UB Alumni tailgate. Stay tuned for details.

Buffalo wins if: Up is down, black is white and cats start getting along with dogs. This, along with Texas Southern, are the two slam-dunk wins on UConn's schedule. Their defense was their strong last year and they return eight starters, but the offense should be in worse shape. The Bulls may be able to run the ball, but have next to no one on the offense that took part in last year's passing attack.

Bottom line: Even at their absolute best two years ago, Buffalo looked completely overmatched against UConn the last time they meet. Since then, Buffalo has slipped quite a bit and UConn has only gotten better. This is an easy win for the Huskies, the best the Bulls can hope for is to keep the final score respectable.

I kinda remember us being up at halftime the last time we met the Huskies. The game was close until the fourth quarter. I think our Bulls need to make the Huskies eat some of their words along with their kibble.

I realize we are heavy underdoggs, but come on now. We will give a better fight than this blogger is giving us credit for IMO
