It seems like the majority of us think that Davis will be our opening day starter. I think he has all the tools to run this offense

I would love to see another poll of who is going to be under center for the most snaps this season.  I think the opening day starter is pretty well set but it will get interesting especially after week 2!

Poll Number 4, Which Freshman makes the biggest impact at wideout?

So it's confirmed Johnson is switching to receiver?

I don't think anyone knows for sure yet, but we do know it is definitely a possibility.

It is really a toss up as to what freshman gets the most playing time, but also keep this in mind. True freshman Cortney Walter may be the fastest of the incoming WR's, and I know from watching Cincinatti that Quinn loves his speed WRs. Also keep in mind Aaron Walters, another speedy incoming WR who may push for playing tmie.

Another incoming player that will be a junior I think is TE Dante Burton. Has anyone heard anything about him? I think he can come in and make a huge impact at TE with his size and speed.

Maybe I was wrong with the starter.  QB race is heating up.  Boy, some serious talent coming in at QB, talent at running back for some time, and what is flying under the radar is the WR's that are going to be true frosh's.  Still would like to see a TE coming in as well as some more OL's.  It is going to be a very fun run for the O for the next couple of years.  Maybe struggle this year, but nothing takes the place of on field time and learning from mistakes.

I really hope that Shannon does not break the solo tackle record, because it would mean the big boys up front aren't doing their collective jobs. I am all about his success though.
