tl;dr

Okay...I skimmed.

Quinn...if the team is 2 - 10, he'll be gone.  But he is here now and he is the coach for this season.  They'll be plenty of time after the final game to discuss his fate.

Let's enjoy the season.  Everyone starts at 0 - 0.  The trip to Athens is fast approaching.  College football is in the air.

I bleed blue and white.

Go Bulls!

What about the two years remaining beyond this season on Jeff Quinn's contract? Jeff Quinn contract according the Buffalo News is for 2013 and 2014 also. What we don't know is the potential buyout of those last two years? But becarefull many on this board might label you a whiner because you have standards for UB football like I have in my opinion. But I agree 100% what you said UB needs more fans like you in my opinion unfortunately we don't have enough like you or Jeff Quinn would have been fired last season when Turner Gill was available again for UB in my opinion. Let's Go Buffalo

First of all read my post to Brooklynbull and all UB fans below because it applies to you also. Because we posted before and we totally disagree on many things with UB athletics on Buffalo Range in the past going back to 2009 including Jeff Quinn hire ring bell, know who I am now as a poster?

Don't know, and I don't care.

Quote
And all you said was give him a chance give him a chance well we see how that turned out didn't we.

You are aware he inherited a mess at offensive line right?

Quote
All of Turner Gill's work has been undone in my opinion so don't play like you don't know who I am as a poster because I think you know me from Buffalo Range and we usually never agree on things with the UB Bulls football and basketball program.

Believe it or not I do not keep a file on people I posted with in 2009. I really don't have any idea who you are.

Quote
You do a good job with your UB blog but you come from one side and not from the local Buffalo community angle

I lived in Buffalo for 25 years and was exclusively a Bills fan before I left..

Quote
You don't like it because I am not polyanna with UB athletics like you and many are which is fine you have a right to your opinion but I have a right to an opinion too. But don't play games like oh I was going to stay out it.

What is this even supposed to mean?

Quote
I am respectiful to all if half these poster came out of the UB is great land athletics message board no matter what to real Buffalo community sports boards they would see there are alot way worse then me in my opinion with bad language added in. Whine you say atleast I care enough to post, I am disappointed coming from you that is the best you got? Most see Jeff Quinn as a bum and just ignore UB like Buffalo State Division 3 football sadly today so spare me I am this Buffalo bad poster just piling on what other posted in a pack to feel smart for me stating an opinion shared by most of Buffalo community in my opinion or worse then what I think because you don't agree whuch is fine. But instead your just pile on in numbers which is very unfortunate in my opinion instead of coming in with an opinion of how to fix this mess that Jeff Quinn created. And that is another thing I didn't coach all those UB football games Jeff Quinn did.

Brevity it the soul of whit... You should try some.

I am not going over this all the bottom line someone isn't a whiner because they have standards as a Buffalo Bulls football and basketball fans. Your standards are lower with the whiner comment in my opinion which fine but not everyone agrees with you. Buffalo Bulls fans shouldn't be labeled whiners because they care that our Buffalo Bulls football program has taken a huge step backwards from Turner Gill days under Jeff Quinn in my opinion. Let's Go Buffalo

Ohhhh, what the hell....

1.  Somebody brought up the offensive line and Coach Quinn inheriting a mess.  I think alot of people were talked into this here.  Yes, The Liberty Coach didnt recruit offensive lineman like Coach Quinn has, but coming in and going smaller, faster, agile in the first year didnt help either, only to change it up the next year when it didnt work.  With that being said, I think Coach Quinn has got that ship righted and all ahead slow for this year.

2.  There is a level of rainbows and lollipops and puppy dog tails here that can get excruciating.  paraphrasing, "Yea, 4 wins, what a season!!!!"   And amazingly, the excuse has already taken shape for this year, UB got a tough schedule this year.  Sure, but UB is still playing 8 MAC Teams right?  Are we back to living in fear of playing other MAC teams?  If so 2008 meant squat in terms of moving forward as a program overall.  Sorry, just being honest.

3.  Never was a fan of the $$$$=level of fandom.  It might not be the intention, but it comes across that way.  Some people are in that position, more power to them.  But that doesnt mean they are more of a fan than everybody else.  Im not in the position to donate, but I show my support in different ways.  Lord knows, UB needs more fans.

4.  Can somebody explain to me what these "Ive got 8's, 3's, 6's, 13's" after Buffalo Super Fan posts?  I dont know what they are or what they mean, but I dont think I would take to kindly to them if it were me.  We are all fans in different ways.

5.  @Buffalo Super Fan.  Just take this as friendly advise.  I can imagine that alot of your posts are emotionally driven while typing.  Thats great, emotion is a good thing.  I would suggest bottling that emotion you have for UB, and use it on gamedays, and when your typing posts, honestly, Im not trying to be the grammer police here, but to caution you that your opinions, and they are just as valuable as someone else's , get lost in the delivery.

I think most people here will acknowledge Quinn made an epic mistake trying to make the line smaller. He did not have the depth to support that body type and that was on him. What was not on him was having *maybe* two reserve linemen who were FBS quality on the team.

I don't think it's fear I think its the reality that we play all four MAC teams with a realistic shot at the conference title, while not playing two of the worst three teams in the conference.

100% agree... I consider the time many put into this (and other) sites giving to the team.

1.  Good we agree.

2.  Ill just give you my perspective where Im coming from.  2008 UB was MAC Champions.  The stated goals for the Football Program is Competing for MAC Championships.  Agree?  Now, As fans we should be holding them to these goals.  If in fact people are going to be satisfied with a 4 win season because UB happens to have 4 teams with a realistic shot at winning the Championship on their schedule, that means to me at least, UB isnt competing for MAC Championships, and they have regressed from 2008.  If UB was progressing, as fans, we wouldnt be worried about other MAC teams, whoever they are, because that would mean UB should be just as good as them.  With that said, I dont expect UB to win the MAC every year, Im more reasonable than that and I know things run in cycles, but I refuse to let other MAC teams scare me and make me feel like a 4 win season is sufficient when the stated goals of the program are competing for MAC Championships.

Anucha Browne Sanders is leaving UB for a job at the NCAA.  She will be in charge of all three women's basketball championships. Good luck at the NCAA.

Seems like the new position is really, really easy. Just coordinate 3 women's basketball championships? Maybe I am wrong, but she was doing a lot more at UB
