If that is the case all through practices leading up to first game then you have to go with what is not only good for the team now but what is good for the future, that has to Licata.

Also, I have not heard much of Neutz's name being called.  Did I miss something. still hurt?

Short of Zordich getting hurt, he will start the season under center.........and he deserves a shot.  Coach is not prone to selecting QB's based on long term views (ie: Chaz).  I think Zordich gets the Georgia and Morgan State games at least, to show what he has..........probably longer.

Neutz is fine, he had some targets and got popped a few times.

Relax about the 'struggles'. Wording it toward just the QB's is only part of the proper characterization. It was the whole of the passing game that struggled. The WR's struggled with the pops dealt out on short, flat routes and the hands of the hawking DB's. The younger OL in front of Licata had to deal with Moseley, Paxson, and Barksdale taking it to them, leaving him to scramble or the multiple touch sacks he endured. For those curious about Paxson, he had a sick move on a TFL that got the D coaches going bananas, one yelling 'See that, that was Paxson right there!".

Just remind me to relax all season when this team can't move the ball in the air.

Relax in the deep thoughts of the spring, when we ran more of the spread offense we will during the season and had Neutz in the field for long stretches (unlike the scrimmage). That produced 5 TD passes.
