Just want to say that our strength coach seems to be doing an amazing job. Can't believe all the weight all these guys are putting on in such little time.

I think it is really going to pay off because our line looks legit on both sides of the ball.

I spoke his praise his first year here from Nebraska.  My only concern, is the number of injuries the past two years.

He's a really good guy too. He's walked up to me at a few of the practices just to say hello and ask how I was doing.

It looks like he's doing a good job so far. Hopefully everything continues that way.

I remember attending Coach Quinn's first UB Kick-Off luncheon (August 2010), wherein he said (amongst other things) that UB had done a great job on conditioning; the team had gained over 600 pounds of muscle!  Even with a 100 man roster, that was 6 pounds of muscle per man....presumably muscle :-)

UB went 2-10 that season.  Maybe all of that extra weight, slowed a few guys down?

I am a big advocate of team speed..............muscle is okay; speed dominates.

Oh please not this again. We went over this in 2010. the team was supposed to be stronger, faster etc etc and we ended up with half the team injured and 2-10.
