Georgia has lots of holes.  4 New OL, New RB, New TE, 2 New WR, New Frosh K, New Frosh P and 4 starters on the Defense are suspended.  Did you notice I said "New".  The highly over rated bulldogs do have a solid defensive line. However, UB has 4 returning starters on the OL that will give the Bulldogs over confident and arrogant  startng DL all they can handle.  On the offensive side of the ball Georgia is going to live and die by their star QB.  The only returning starters on O for UGA are the QB and 1 OL and a WR.  UB gets to the QB, even without Mack, multiple times and UGA turns the ball over 3 times and a blocked punt.  UB scores 17 points on turnovers and the Offense puts up 30 points and upsets the highest ranked SEC East school 30 to 23.  UB gives up 2TD and 3FG.  Georgia's freshman kicker is 3 for 6 on the day and Georgia loses the game on missed FG attempts.  Let the Georgia fan meltdown begin.   UB 30 UGA 23.

UGA Poll ranking drops from 5 in the country to 18 and UB ends up ranked #1 in MAC  after week 1.  Bo ends up on sports center for putting up 185 yards and 3 TD on UGA and fans start thinking to themselves about Heisman.

Go Bulls!!!

And UMass pounds UConn the Thursday night before; and Edsall and Maryland go undefeated (13-0) and play for the NC on the 8th of January......

Love your enthusiasm, 93.  I'll be cheering that you are right every minute of the game.......but I'll take time to breath :-)

I'll be thrilled if we stay within 3 touchdowns but I think realistically we'll see something like:

UGA  -  49
UB  -  10

UMASS and Maryland both lost their starting QB's for the season.  Not to mention UM lost their best LB last week (Tate?) and Starting DE.  Maryland is in for a long season and I will be in UM when UCONN beats Edsel.

UMASS is not the same team as two years ago when they lost to Michigan in Michigan 42 to 37.  Just as this is not the same team in Georgia as last year.  Everyone is giving Georgia high rankings based on last year and a easy SEC schedule.  Well, it's not last year and Georgia will struggle on offense.  They will be good but not nearly as good.  They lost an NFL caliber TE, OL, WR, RB and K.  UB has "U"nfinished "B"usinees and it starts with Georgia!

Go Bulls!!!

They probably have NFL caliber TEs, OLs, WRs, RBs and Ks to replace those guys. They are Georgia...

How concerned should Georgia fans be for their offensive line, read this article by a Georgia SB Nation writer.  They lost 3 OL Seniors to the NFL and have no senior lineman on the 3 deep.

The Vols started 4 So and a Jr against us in their OL and they didn't have many issues. UGA are much more talented all around then Tennessee. The author's pessimism is about their OL and winning the SEC East/SEC Title, not so much about the Buffalo game. Bray had his time and his big WR's burned our young DB's. This time out, Murray is a different and more experienced QB than Bray was, but they don't have a Da'Rick Rogers type 1st team All-SEC WR. They'll try to pound us with FB's and their main 225 lb RB, and spread the ball around. All we can hope for is some pressure to Murray and keeping big plays down.

We're getting some idea for the depth chart from McKissic. We don't have many SR's this year but our glut of other vets means we won't need to use many T-Fr.

When the Bulls' first two-deep is unveiled this week for the season opener at Georgia, only punter Tyler Grassman and safety Okezie Alozie will be on the depth chart....Other true freshmen who have impressed during training camp are tight end Mason Schrek, tailbacks Jordan Johnson (Sweet Home) and Devin Campbell, wide receivers Marcus McGill and Malcolm Robinson, quarterback Collin Michael and defensive back Brandon Berry.

I wish I could be more positive but it's hard to see anything good coming from this game this week. Btw, QCS will be back to normal with UB football articles this week. We'll have a game preview, recap, and an article scouting the Bulldogs. Will post the links later in the week.
