He's not cleared to practice. It's looking like they'll give Tony every chance to start. Skeete looks pretty good. If he figures out how to use his quickness in this offense and can spell Oldham, Tony can shoot all he wants. 

I'm excited about the increased playing time of Auraum, Cameron & CRaley-Ross!!
I expect their productivity - including newcomers J. Skeete & Will Regan will exceed expectations!

CBS MAC preview from last week. They pick us to finish behind Ohio, Akron and Kent State in the East and have little to say about us specifically:

Elsewhere in the East, Kent State lost three starters, but the team always grows back a few limbs. The program is seldom near the cellar. It'll be OK. Buffalo could take a hit, though. It's got this great player in Javon McCrea, a guy I have a basketball man crush on, but beyond him where's the help? Bowling Green and Miami U are borderline .500 teams.

This is a coach's take:

Buffalo probably can't be as good. A huge factor and the biggest question for me is, who's going to be their all-around guy? Mitchell Watt was one of the best players in the league last year. So who can replace him, and where's the 3-point shooting going to come from?

They also list McCrea as one of the best players in the league (they give Cooper the PotY):

Javon McCrea, Buffalo. So, so good. Strong. A mismatch for pretty much any player in this league. Was in the top four percent of nine KenPom.com categories last season.

Seems pretty accurate really. I think Ohio will be the class of the MAC...obviously. Not really going out on a limb there. Akron is always good and will be and Kent is solid like they said. The MAC East is brutal yet again...

No word on how the secret scrimmage went, I imagine?

Doesn't sound so bad via tweets. Only word from the BB twitter feed is that we played well. Team manager also tweeted "Pretty good scrimmage today'. Smiley posted a pic from inside the gym at Gannon U., but no players. Wetzel asked him how things went and Sean replied "pretty well man, we're getting there".

Also peeking on Weir tweets, he's told someone he may need to redshirt.
