I don't always like the philosophy of 1 QB recruit per class, and especially for this smaller class when we already have Licata and Michael for the next few years. But Brett Sheehan from GA is out there with an offer from UB after he dropped an FIU verbal. He could be a good MAC QB. USA and Georgia St have offered too. He's listed as visiting GA St next month but I don't see why he'd pick the Panthers, who have verbals from 3 other QB's, other than wanting to stay at home.

Interesting twitter from Coach Quinn on recruiting.  Not sure what prospects are in Section 5 & 6.

I don't think it refers to any one prospect, but to 'hometown' kids.

I don't think his brother even made it through JC so I doubt he'll ever enroll here.

No word on scholarship commits but I have some new names who are trying to get offers but may need to walk-on. Funny you mention JC LB's, Sportsfan. I was checking up on a former star Canisius HS player the other day, Kyril Threats. He's played at ECC the last 2 seasons and was their #2 tackler, 6'2" about 215. In his twtter feed in December a friend asked about where he's going and he mentioned talking to UB, but no offer yet. He may or may not want to walk-on.

Also during X-mas visiting my wife's family, one of her cousin's sons, who is in HS and is looking to come to UB for track, told me a kid on his FB team was talking to UB. Greg Elliott, 6'5" 240. Class C but was 1st-team all-state. He just posted a video yesterday. Raw but "country strong", no real set position.

The Butler Grizzlies one.  Quinn could not comment on the 2014 one.
