Interesting, so WMU didn't get rid of him, UB just stole him away?  Other than more $$ i wonder what lured him from a MAC school to another MAC program. Seems like a lateral move in that regard.  Anyway, good luck to him!

There was friction between him and some of the WMU players... They quit and tried to get him fired but WMU sided with him. I think maybe he wanted a fresh start.

Someone who I trust on this, who specifically wanted to be left out. It's also something I won't put on Bull Run because it was a confidential conversation in which they gave me permission to say it but wanted anonymity.

They said that they were not privy to the in game incident so they don't know if it was a player being a Prima Donna or if it was a coach over stepping. In the end WMU backed him, implying that Riddle was not in the wrong.
