  1. This has to be a troll job right? We complain when we schedule 3 D2 teams and now we are gonna complain about a tough non conference schedule? Come on. The goal for this team is to grow and be better come February into Cleveland. Expect bad nights. Many of them. There’s a lot to figure out as many have already said. But I rather play a difficult non conference. That’s how you grow. Not playing cupcakes and developing bad habits.

  2. Update on our guy: For the Eagles: TE Tyree Jackson was activated from the PUP list Entering 2021 training camp, Jackson was thought of as an intriguing developmental player who was transitioning from quarterback to tight end. At 6'7, 249 pounds, Jackson has excellent size for the position, and athleticism to go along it with. However, being new to the position, it was expected that progress would come along slowly. Dallas Goedert was placed on the IR and a door of opportunity opened.

  3. Three games in and what do we know about this team. First, they are extremely inconsistent. This is not unexpected given the turnover of the roster. Second, they are capable of beating a solid team like Colgate. Third, they will have an opportunity to improve throughout the season. If they improve to be more consistently like the team that beat Colgate, they could make some noise in Cleveland. Ball is in their court.

  4. I wonder if we will see blocker or ceasar in the starting lineup, I think their speed is desperately needed Also good teams win, great teams cover lol

  5. We want to a run a transition type system but have zero rebounding that's needed to get out in transition

  6. I wish we would eliminate the play where the dribbler drives baseline then essentially gets trapped bc of the out of bounds line and does a jump pass around the basket resulting in a turnover

  7. Good thing games aren’t 4 minutes long. Why can’t they be 9 minutes?

  8. Isaac Jack running the floor/defending looks pretty unathletic then you get the ball in his hands and he’s a super polished finisher. It’s jarring lol, feels like he has a high ceiling for us long term given that he’s actually relatively inexperienced playing basketball

  9. C. Jones tied for the team lead in ppg and rpg and leading in apg. Also a decent assist to turnover ratio at 3.3 to 1.7. Very early, but Curtis is one of our better shooters from 3 at 30%. Team shooting just 25% (15/60), need to raise that into the low 30’s at least to be somewhat competitive. Work in progress!

  10. Agreed - I love that the POTENTIAL is there. And that we've already seen a taste of it. It's going to be a matter of putting things together consistently. Which will be a process.

  11. The press looked good. Jack looked good too. Unfortunately the turnovers did not. They will have to figure out who their primary ball handler is. Should be Curtis Jones IMO.

  12. Does Whitesell teach passing? It’s just a bunch of slashing and chucking up bad shots or turning the ball over. Super ugly. How the hell did we beat Colgate??

  13. Somehow we beat Colgate. Who is up 42-27 on Cuse at half. I’m not bugging, as this is pretty much what was to be expected from a young group and players who have not played with each other much. My advice to Whitesell…forget the up tempo play. We turn the ball over too much for that and don’t have a true PG.

  14. So every team should just give up if they aren't playing well a tenth of the way through the game? Good thing the team doesn't have the same mindset

  15. He's just the shiny toy everyone points to thinking that he is Nate Oats 2.0. As I have said, no other D1 teams have been ringing his phone either, which tells me something.
