  1. I don’t know much about Devin Grant’s background or how highly recruited he was, but he has the look of an NFL prospect.
  2. Opening drive we had second down and 8 inches at midfield and that somehow turned into 4th and 9, punt. No penalty was involved. I can’t take it! lol
  3. I see that UB is a 7 point favorite at Kent State,, wow. I'm not even sure what to make of that.
  4. That BG game was so bad i think it broke this message board. Not much commentary. What happened to Cole Snyder? was he hurt or pulled for being ineffective? I was watching some on the stream but not able to have the sound on. 238 yards in any MAC game is horrendous, but at home vs Bowling Green is even beyond that. When Ogbonna came in that made it one dimensional, BG knew he would mostly run or hand off. Seemed like he threw some jump balls but not much else. We must have a backup QB that can at least throw a decent pass.
  5. Easy to defense the run with 8 guys in the box. BG knows that UB will run with Ogbonna in the game. A nice jump ball TD but otherwise not a good passer at this stage.
  6. The Snyder fumble changed everything. He’s not looking very good throwing so far today in poor conditions.
  7. What was that review? that was a catch on the sidelines. Should be 1st down UB. ugh refs
  8. Good to see UB not in the bottom 10 anymore, nor are they on the waiting list. They take heat when they underachieve badly, so they deserve props for digging themselves out of that hole. Good job Bulls. The "Charlotte 1-and-4'ers" That's kinda funny. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/38626094/college-football-bottom-10-week-6-miami-hurricanes
  9. Some incredible big plays by Grant. The turnovers swung the whole game. Great game by all. Happy to see it. It’s amazing. what happens when they play teams with similar talent levels. As we said a couple weeks ago and still rings true today, only Ohio, Miami and Toledo seem a cut above the rest.
  10. Nice win, I was glad for the players to get the W, they deserved one. That's about all you can say,, Akron is pretty bad. Not sure where we go from here, but there are a couple more wins on that MAC schedule if UB can play some D like they did Saturday. Snyder is impossible to predict when he will have one of those high completion and big play games or when he will look terrible. BTW, I noticed that Fordham lost to Georgetown on Saturday and the Rams only had 259 yards of total offense. The Hoyas are a Patriot League team that doesn't even bother to schedule G5 teams. Georgetown lost to Stonehill College a couple weeks ago and lost 30-0 to Columbia last weekend. That Fordham loss by UB was disgraceful.
  11. The MAC is not looking very good this year so UB will be on more equal footing in conference play. Akron, Bowling Green and Kent State are lousy for the most part. Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan are the definition of "Mid" when it comes to mid major FBS teams. They should both beat this UB club but wouldn't shock me if the Bulls go 1-1 in these . Ohio, Toledo and Miami look like the three best MAC teams and from what we've seen so far, three losses. It's too bad we don't have Ball State and NIU on the schedule this year.
  12. Weird game. I was hoping for some offensive adjustments at halftime. I guess i can’t complain.
  13. Yeah nice little bounce back helped by the muffed punt and nice sideline INT. At least the Bulls are fighting. D getting gashed again late 3rd. need a stop.
  14. I didn’t want to believe it but we have to be the worst FBS team in the country. There are a few really lousy MAC teams this season so UB may end up with a couple wins, but this season is a trainwreck
  15. I mean you want to say the D played OK but then they give up two god awful embarrassing long TD runs in the 3rd Qtr. What kind of horrible angles to these guys take to the ball carrier?!?! so frustrating
  16. Let’s see if our offensive coaches at halftime can make adjustments.
  17. I was about to compliment the D on the first half effort, until the very end. Louisiana was content on running it out, and UB just allowed them to come down and do whatever they wanted. But then i’ll give them big props over the INT and stopping the drive (although a horrible decision and throw by the QB there). Maybe that somehow swings momentum for the game. The offense is moving in slo mo. One of the worst offensive half’s i’ve seen in quite some time.
  18. The UB guy that jumped offsides on 4th and 1 should be sat down for a bit. How dumb and undisciplined can you be?
  19. He’s playing like this is his first time ever playing college football. But the O line is getting whipped in the trenches. Not helping. Hopefully they figure it out like other teams have done to UB in second halves
  20. How do you call forward progress? guys break tackles all the time. That looked like a fumble and UB recovery
  21. I get Mo’s strategy early. Play decent D. Run the ball, run clock, shorten the game. Try to make it to the 4th Qtr and not be down by three TD’s. But, let Cole throw it a bit on early downs. You still need to score some.
  22. Hello Transfer portal. It’s going to be a conga line of UB players who think they are better than they are in this program.
  23. It's a bad situation. As noted in the other thread UB ranked is dead last, 133 in a publication that follows NCAA college football pretty closely. That's pretty much a guarantee that several decent players, especially on offense, will be in the portal faster than we can blink. I can see Nik McMillan taking his talents elsewhere. No one really wants to hang around the bottom team. Hopefully these players and coaches have enough pride and work ethic to get this somewhat pointed in the right direction when the MAC schedule starts.
  24. I'm thinking of women's hoops, Becky Burke since she just got extended. In any event, good thing she got locked in to a new deal. I'm sure some Big10 or ACC program was about to poach her away 🙄
  25. Apparently ULL lost their very good senior QB against UAB. He suffered a lower leg injury and only played one series. A freshman QB came in from there. So they routed UAB by running like 40 times. UB can't really stop the run or the pass so not loving their chances even if he doesn't play this week.
