This kid doesn’t know what he wants. He’s a good player but even if he commits I’m worried a couple things might happen. 1) He’s not gonna get the minutes that he thinks he deserves despite being a freshman, so he’ll transfer. 2) He’ll do well his freshman or sophomore year, get interest from a bigger school, then transfer just to sit the bench (Like Aaron Estrada from St.Peter’s) Like I said, he seems like a solid piece but he also just seems like a flight risk we may not want to waste a scholarship on. I could be totally wrong. Thoughts?

I messaged him a few weeks back and asked him about his recruiting process and he told me he was deciding between Buffalo and one other school. He didn’t name the school and I didn’t want to pry but I’m guessing it was between UB and Oregon.

Obviously this isn’t a Strong indicator but I commented “come to UB” under one of his Instagram posts and he liked it within minutes. Former Kansas State commit who averaged 21pts 10rbs and 5ast last season in JUCO... it’s clear he wants a place where he can get minutes and with his height, strength and ability to shoot the deep ball I see him playing a role similar to Jeenathan Williams. In my opinion he should fill our final scholarship slot.
