  1. That Bucknell team was on fire at the start from the outside.  They were moving the ball very well and got to the open man close to the basket on several occasions.  I thought the UB women were not taking open shots and trying to get closer to the basket in the first half.    Fair needs to remember she is only 5' 5" and faces more height when she comes inside.

Will see what both the players and coaching staff can learn from these beat downs. Summer and Adeyeye had better showings. Both Camp and Woolley were overmatched again. Fair shot horribly and only played 24 minutes. Did she get hurt or just taken out to let other players get some game exposure?? Look forward to their games back home when the competition should be more in line with our ability. Go Bulls!!!

Does anyone know why Saniia Wilson is not playing?

The MAC is the MAC. A collection of secondary and tertiary schools, UB is the flagship public university for America's 4th most populous state. We should always be looking to move up and out.

What really was a cold shot was how Buffalo was never even mentioned, not even as an outsider, to join the AAC. For cripes sake. Hillbilly schools like App State, Liberty and Georgia Southern get mentioned. Why is that? What do those schools have that we don't? Buffalo is in media market #57. We have an alumni base that stretches into metro NYC. Our teams have been ranked recently. Why are we ignored?

I am disappointed we haven’t scheduled Alabama. Disappointed that Coach Oats and his team will not be coming to Alumni this year. There was probably about a 0% chance that would happen, but I was hoping.

That should have been negotiated with his buyout.

It would be nice seeing the Bulls in NYC area (a lot easier for me to attend a game) and would certainly be a good contest.  Currently Iona has 9 scheduled OOC games including 3 games for ESPN Events. Invitational - so not looking likely.

Let's not forget all the alumni in the area too!

Looking back at this I wonder if the Maceo Jack transfer to UB was ever part of the consideration here. I’m not saying she got the offer but I can see a (possibly unlikely) scenario where she would say no to Syracuse to be at UB with Jack for his senior season and where it’s too late in the summer for Syracuse to move on a reasonable plan B.

This thought passed my mind too that this is a backroom deal set in stone for next year already.

Well said. A player that is a star player and the main guy on the mid major team goes to a power five conference and team with as you said all 4 and 5 star recruits not only on his team but in a power conference with 4 and 5 star players on most of the teams. Possibly a player like Justin Turner can be a good player at that level but he is going to come up against players that are as good as and better than him both athletically and physically. It can be a big time reality check for mid major players that were the main guys on their team. I think if that one time transfer rule ever does get passed I think you could see a crazy amount of players trying to transfer. Who knows what it could do to the mid major competition.and as always only time will tell what will happen.

That certainly didn't apply to our own Shannon Evans.   He held his own going from the MAC to the PAC12.image.thumb.png.880b62001ebd8f812e0ca51b826fefe0.png

  8. I think upgrading our level of competition at home would have a significant impact in attendance at Alumni Arena.  My wish list is to see us make our way into the AAC should that conference ever expand.   Anyone else share that vision.
