Update on our guy: For the Eagles:
TE Tyree Jackson was activated from the PUP list
Entering 2021 training camp, Jackson was thought of as an intriguing developmental player who was transitioning from quarterback to tight end. At 6'7, 249 pounds, Jackson has excellent size for the position, and athleticism to go along it with. However, being new to the position, it was expected that progress would come along slowly.
Dallas Goedert was placed on the IR and a door of opportunity opened.

Kayode Awosika signs with the Eagles.
Kayode Awosika signed for another season with the Eagles practice squad - 1 of 3 offensive lineman on the 15 member practice squad. Played in one game last season, the finale against Dallas.

Article behind a subscribers paywall but the headline is scary as it is that time of year -
Syracuse women's basketball program is going to conduct a national search, let's hope they skip right over WNY!

According to Rachel Lenzi - PSU's DC was hired away by Va Tech to be their new head coach - Brent Pry, was a grad assistant under Frank Beamer in the mid-90's and played as a DB for none other than our very own UB Bulls!
Go Bulls!

20 to 9 that is the difference right there we can not expect to win if we do not take care of the ball -

Not sure where you got your NFTA Route Planner link from but this is the correct link:
https://metro.nfta.com/schedules/plan-your-trip
Looks to me to be a 20 minute bus trip on the UB bus from North to South Campus and then another 20 minutes downtown by subway.
40-50 minutes to get downtown seems reasonable to me.
With that said, I don't think most UB Students would make the trek. Hard enough to get them to show up for on-campus games.
I made that trip all the time when I was a student at D'Youville and my brother was playing football at UB in the 90's - used to get on the Metro at Summer-Best station and then the UB bus back then never asked for identification to ride between North and South campuses - games, parties, concerts, friend visiting, etc.

HS football is so hard to say, especially WR and TE. HS QBs are all over the place and if they are dual threat it's even worse. If the team was overmatched, the overall passing was probably bleak. He's 6'6" and they may see his athleticism and size as worth investing in with the right coaching and nutrition. Any idea what his stat lines were in the 3 wins they have had so far?
I see your point and I remain hopeful - as far as I could see, based on the Gonzaga social pages, he was not featured in any of their post game announcements - they usually featured like 4-5 players per game and I didn't see him anywhere

Took my son this past Friday to the St Joe's Prep vs Gonzaga match up with interest - never need a good reason to go to Franklin Field - Also wanted to see this years Prep team on a supposed down year, in addition Gonzaga featured UB recruit Cameron Ball!!
Got there midway through the 1st quarter with the Prep kicking their second extra point of the game to put them up 14-0
Cameron is out on kick return coverage on the wing of the up man position - FWIW the Prep kicker Chadha was 6 for 6 on touchbacks -no opportunities to return and he's committed to Temple next year.
Offense for Gonzaga was a spread formation with really elusive scrambling QB- not bad, no Cam Ball - he only played 5-10 offensive plays - one at the end of the 1st half, and another couple at the end of the game -
Prep won 35-3, totally outmatched and outplayed Gonzaga (who has their TE going to Ga Tech and their DL with offers from Ohio St) - my son asked if Cam Ball was being disciplined and I wondered if UB should not have even offered this kid - granted he looked good off the line of scrimmage running routes and was targeted once to have the ball batted away in the end zone by a back up DB - We were his only offer - could this have been a mistake?

I don't believe so, I mean we see those on the PUP list Physically Unable to Preform who are kept on the team, as well guys who are fringe and just let go due to being hampered by injury. The thing with Tyree is that he really impressed the Eagles coaches and players in how well he ran and caught and being a former QB he has the knowledge already of the routes and formations necessary to be successful.

Looks like the Eagles are keeping Tyree on the roster - let Richard Rogers go today and keeping 4 TE's on the roster!
Good news and now lets heal up so we can see him on the field.

Sounds like we are 2/1 odds of winning the MAC Championship. I like the sounds of that! What a nice way to cap this crazy off-season to do something the former coaching staff and departed team members couldn't do. Let's make it happen!! Go Bulls!!
A friend of mine just sent me that from William Hill- I was pleasantly surprised and also noticed that Kansas was 300-1 odds to win the Big 12, only odds worse to win their conference was Vandy -

As expected. Even though the expectation is he reshirts his freshman season. Legacy recruit.
That might explain Jameel Brown's de-commitment from Purdue

Also plays on Team Final with the top sophomore in the country.

Check out what the transfer portal is doing to Syracuse Women's team. I worry that their coach may be on the way out the door. Who would they look to next?
I went to HS with her mother, played football against her father - I'm rooting for her!!

Well, if LL wants the Kansas job, he really must want to get the hell out of Buffalo.
I couldn't agree more, although Lawrence is a lovely college town, it is extremely plain and small. My friend was a S&C coach there two years during the Mangino years - campus is beautiful, Fogg Allan Fieldhouse is magical, I couldn't see living there compared to WNY.

We do know we have maceo jack joining next season
Is he with the team now practicing? Anyone know
We can see him on the bench with the team, glasses wearing, in sweats - and he is in a mostly celebratory mood after made shots and the like, my only assumption is that he is at every practice going at it with the team, preparing for next year.
