I have ESPN+. I signed up during the heyday of basketball and football.  Saturday am , that service will be dropped from and tv. This team is in an unwatchable tailspin .All on a national network, disgraceful !

As an alumni in the NYC metro area, who has been following UB sports for years, especially since " the catch". I have an affinity for the basketball program since I met my future wife after a game in 1970. I believe  this program will get back on track a bit, once a hungry coach is chosen. Mistakes were made by the AD, but this looks like it is  now going in the right direction. I am hoping  for the right pick for a coach  that will  reinvigorate the program. Go Bulls!

Kansas seems to be the graveyard for coaches. They guy is 56 years old and might not get another chance at that level. Everyone coaches come and go, even at the P5 level. Hopefully the recruits and other stay on. I bet the next head coach comes from the staff. Just so late in the off season...

Lets see, four years played recently, one win, and two close game and a loss.  When Buffalo win a few years the were crowned "The Kings of New York".  That is what he is afraid. I told my wife about the trash talk, she commented does not anybody do that. He cant take a team so close getting as good or better than SU. Gear motivation for UB.

What about the Kansas game?

I do not see anything to gain from a move like that. A much better place to move is the American, certainly an upgrade....

You never know with a guy like this.....

That's okay.   We lost out to Illinois State...you know...they are from the MVC...so it is okay because the MVC recently finished ahead of the MAC in conference rankings.  We are probably going to find a diamond-in-the-rough during the summer.

I believe the Mac is  viewed as a low competition league. What was the last bowl game won by a Mac team and what year? Maybe that drags the whole draft profile down. Mac players cant show any weakness and if they do then they are toast....😕

Whitesell probably was the best bet to keep the current roster intact and if that comes to be true, then its not a horrible "hire" at all. This roster is very good and keeps some consistency.

I just dont think BH was to be trusted or else he would have been a good candidate. His lack of HC experience probably hurt too.

After hearing Murray, Lanier, Stepehens etc... I think I was just hoping for that splash. Although after the dust settles Im just happy we did the work and have made a decision. Now lets start building towards next season.

I think BH  seams to  be a bit immature. Going around shooting his mouth off and running around in Alabama jersey. As stated no real coaching experience, but a good  recruiter . Just seams to be following Oats around  and was probably pre arranged to go with Oats no matter where he moved. Thanks to Oats for a terrific run and good luck....
