Short on ball handlers.

Jack and Ceasar would have added a lot to this group.

Had Chatman played last year, Jim would probably still be here, he is that good, even in traffic.   I remember the schooling he gave Skogman a couple years ago.  I think the fouls were an anomaly and probably a part of the 1/2 court defense issues.

3 point shooting is much better.

Defense against a well run offense was a problem.

They were out worked on the boards at times.

The close of the game is an huge positive for the team and the coach, especially after giving up an 11-0 run.

I think if you honestly compare last years roster and to this year’s we should be in a better place.   I saw a lot of good things in the 1st game.  A freshman in the 5 who wasn’t lost and is athletic.

Last night was a coaching clinic on how to use a very a short bench and stay out of foul trouble.   

Is there any news on some of the injuries  ?  Really thin at both the post and the back court. 

How many Bulls fans plan on making the trip?

Sections m109 & m 110 we’re behind the team bench.   Each section is sparse, difficult to predict where the UB fans will be, but most seemed to be at the bench end but behind the basket.   The arena website has a link to seatgeek.   #ubhornsup

Has anyone  taken a look at the seasons of last years de-commits?   Looks like only 1 of them saw any playing time.   

I think both are gifted athletically.   In an early non conference game, Nickelberry had a base line drive with a Tomahawk finish that blew me out of my seat.

 David, like Grant and Tae, has yet to find his flow but like the Gabe and Antwain game minutes help.  I think of Nickelberry like Jeremy Harris .

 If Fagan is indeed a RS Jr. then plausibly he could finish his bachelor's this year and grad transfer.   More likely he has just one year left plus what ever he can get in this year.   He might be eligible for a 6th year wavier for a medical redshirt.

All that length next year would be pretty legit!   Segu and Robinson would be the only sub 6'3".  Might be nice a see an orangemen 2-3 zone with Nate and David, 6'5" and 6'7", at the guard spots for 5-6 mins or certain possessions.

Is there any word on Tra's situation?

When T.I. drops "Bring 'Em Out" , tomorrow at Canal Side, this Bulls Fan may be a little somber when CJ, Nick, Montel, Jeremy and Dontay don't appear!   Enjoy the Show!

I'm not sure that conferences with Net rankings of 14, 18 an 21 make the MVC, CAA and Horizon on par or better than the 9th ranked MAC.

Is there any news on the UB women's hoops?  Recruits ?  Coach Jack?

I believe that 7 on the top 100 list are or have been committed to UB at one time.   

JUCO players are important to the entire system due to academic requirements.

I believe  David makes #7 on the current list of top 100 juco players who have signed with or actually been on the team.
