  1. Nice win, Jack making strides. Gonna need him if we are going to have a chance at winning this. These next 3 games gonna be a big tell tale of where we stand in the conference. Miami of Ohio a game we should win but always scary with Mekhi Lairy as he can go off and drop 30+ on you. Brutal stretch second half of the month against Toledo, ball state, Kent state and Akron. Need to have a strong showing these next few..

Before tonight’s 2/6 performance Foster was a respectable if slightly below average 70% (35/50) at the line. Getting Powell (47/57, 82.5%) back should be a big help in that department.

I get that but with the game on the line I want Curtis Jones or Powell like you said with ball in hands. I get they were short handed in backcourt today. Foster also played big minutes, but I think we can all say shooting is definitely not his strength on the court.

  3. Really nice win, dominated from tip to tip. Curtis Jones becoming a star. Powell looked really solid in 2nd half. Isiah Adams had subpar game, but only 1 turnover so will take that as a win. Team has potential when they don’t turn the ball over a million times, that’s the thing they must control if gonna be competitive in mac. Looking forward to see how they perform against Tulane.

Depressingly bad offense. JMU just showed how to beat us since we’re a horrible shooting team with no inside presence.

I was going to drive the 4 hrs to UConn. Probably scrapping that idea now.

Don’t waste your time will be a blowout. This might be the worst home performance in over a decade, complete embarrassment..

  5. Some bad calls against Akron. That jacquez call was a clear charge. But ultimately poor decision making down the stretch. You give UCLA a window they going to take it. Credit to Akron just didn’t have enough offensive firepower and Ali Ali needed a big second half which he didn’t have.

Jeenathan regressed?? That's just incorrect. Do you remember what he was like as a freshman and sophomore? He probably achieved 90% of his individual potential from when he committed here.

Yeah he definitely didn’t regress. He had some really poor shooting performances in some games and just didn’t turn out as dominant as a lot had hoped but definitely didn’t regress. The guy that regressed was Mballa, after last year he just never returned to form. With no bench he need to be a star, and he just wasn’t.

Anyone else notice what a solid game Hardnett had especially on the offensive end? 12 pts on 5/7 shooting, 3 boards and 0 fouls. Not sure where that came from but we need more production like that in Cleveland.

A sloppy and disjointed game for sure, and still we were in it right to the end. I’d much rather have seen a win tonight but this team didn’t quit and that should give us at least a little hope for next week!

By far his best game of the year. He was very solid in tourney and that NIT game last year. Been horrible this year to date, but hopefully he can fill in that bench piece we sorely missing for tourney if we going to make any type of run.
