Too much of the talk we hear is generated by agents (leveraging the next contract extension), media (talking heads with way too much time to imagine things), and fans (who know next to nothing).  So, unless I'm hearing things from trustworthy sources, I don't put much stock in it.

    Insightful comments  imo.

  2. Darn it.....I wanted a later start.  I'll be at UTSA @ Texas A&M, and wanted to get back to my hotel room and watch this game over beer and pizza.  Guess I'll just have to keep an eye on the inter-web, throughout the TAMU game.

Boys' weekend.....West Virginia @ Baylor on Thursday night; after a round of golf that day; Friday golf; Saturday game @ TAMU....head home Sunday with a weaker liver and a cleansed soul.

    Does he also kick XPs?

Notice that Rodrigo missed a PAT-length FG for then #3 Georgia on the weekend?  They took an "L", and likely dropped out of the CFP conversation. Kickers miss sometimes.  I like Jackson Baltar.

Now, not going on 4th and 1....I'm not so thrilled with Lance!

UB vs Akron will kick off at 3:30pm. Who’s making the trip out to Ohio?

Not Dar and I....we fly to Atlanta on Thursday; then drive to Chattanooga to see the Mocs take on ETSU that night; head to Atlanta on Friday for a day at the College Football Hall of Fame and Coca Cola Museums; then watch Georgia State play Army on Saturday.....when we saw Georgia State last, they played in the Georgia Dome.  So this will be new seeing them at Turner Field/Georgia State Stadium.  Home on Sunday.

We'll be back to UB on the 26th for Central Michigan...

  5. GT is not very good....ugly loss to FCS - The Citadel.  The Ramblin' Wreck ain't ramblin' much this year.

UB a 5 point dog to Miami (OH) is interesting.  Take off three for the home team, and I guess the money guys think it is going to be close with wagering on both sides.  I'm surprised after UB showing out against Temple that it is a spread of 3 or less...…….

Matters not.  Just another UB victory straight up as a dog.....#UBhornsUp

I’m hoping for the best too but I think we return less starters on defense than we do on offense this year which could be rough. I think if we have a successful year it’s going to be driven by our experience and talent at o-line and the RBs just going off

Perhaps a tad early  but "Winner, winner  chicken dinner"

I’d be more than happy with that MAC record but if we can be 5-3 in MAC we can get more than 1 OOC win. Still 6-6 or 7-5 in a rebuilding year would be a ok by me

I'm with you on the MAC record.....5-3 would be good all things considered.  Aside from Robert Morris, I'm not sure I like our OOC chances.....maybe Liberty, but it's a road game; Temple and Penn State (I hate to say it) look much stronger on paper.

6-6 would be a good transition year.

Their move today won’t be enough for realignment to land at UB’s feet but I could see some home BBall games from them in return for some football games in the future if they end up Indy.  Which I’d be a big fan.

What is it about UB playing UConn and beating them on the grid iron, on their (UB's) way to a MAC Championship of football, makes you a big fan?  I am too.....just wondered?

  9. It's been many years...……..although we did go to Navy @ Air Force last year in Colorado Springs.  Dar wants to go back to NYC for Army-Navy and skating and shopping and...…  🙂  Outside chance I may try to score a pair for this year; depends on which bowl game UB is playing in and where.
