I'd take Claunch just for his own free throw percentage (.877).  If we had shot them at that rate, we would have won quite a few more games and JW would still be our coach.

"Coached" is a term that should be used very loosely.  We won a bunch of championships thanks to the young talent we had on the team.  I subbed in on occasion to give the guys a breather.  Thanks for the Kudos.  

At my age, I don't think I qualify as the "Up and Comer" that we're hoping for.  Last I coached was a Women's team in a Church league back in 85.  Lost in the finals.

Agree with all of the above.  I also believe the reaction from Bama would have been a whole lot different if the team wasn't a possible National Champion and the players involved didn't include the best player on the team.

Yeah.  I spoke with him a couple of times after the incident.  Good guy.  I was tossed from a couple of basketball games back in the day, both as a player and as a coach.

I also heard rumors that Hodgson and ADMA never really saw eye to eye.  Actually, I cleaned that up from was told to me.

When you say, "reminds me of a soccer player almost", it makes me wonder.  Did someone breath on him wrong, he went down acting like he was going to die from pain, and then get up and go on a scoring streak?  😁

Let me clarify my "being against him".  I was against the ugliest logo in D-1 sports, and I was against the fact that he had the personality of a doorknob unless you were a big donor, and he treated many employees as peons.  I appreciate his vision and his hires.
