  1. I mean, name and drop pockets man a lot in college football and unfortunately Nebraska has both. I definitely am hoping for a W against them, but will not be surprised if they win. Not to mention, we don't typically do well against The P5 conferences, even if we go up against a bad team or a rebuilding year.

Funny thing with Nate is, I always thought he’d be coaching in the NBA eventually. He’s that ambitious.

I think he has the mind for it, but I'm not sure he's got enough coaching under his belt to have the NBA calling quite yet. If he can run Bama to the F4, then probably, but I think he'll need a few more years before he gets a call from the big boys.

This game will be won.  Nazareth is no way competitive to even the worst of the MAC teams.

I am not sure anything in this game will tell us anything.

It may not tell us anything, but it will be another game under the belt for the team to be more cohesive. Maybe help some of the guys find their stroke.

I will look forward to seeing how they work together in this game.

  5. I was pretty damn impressed watching our boys last night. They looked like they were having fun and working as a cohesive unit. I feel like the defense needs a little cleaning up, but honestly, I don't know that it was really that bad. Mballa and Bertram got some good blocks, Johnson and Grant had some really active hands allowing for a good amount of steals, and Jordan was as impressive as always.

On the offense side, they looked, dare I say, better than last year. Good strokes from the 3, decent free throw shooting, including 4-5 from Jordan, and nice dribble drives with tenacious finishes. It looked like they were never giving up on a shot, which really kept the second change points high.

I'm really excited to see us play this year. I think we are going to seriously turn some heads and possibly be ranked all year again 🙂

    Time will tell though
