Public transport, you'd be taking the flyaway (or shuttle to light rail) to Union Station, then transferring to metro rail.  Definitely not the fastest.

Cab and Uber would obviously be comparable.

There are also supershuttles (and alternatives), along with Disney shuttles.

    Me, I'd rent a car.

Why lax instead of sna? That much cheaper? Also consider long beach - jet blue flies there, so might be relatively inexpensive.

Long Beach is definitely closer, but probably like $200 more.

SNA is definitely a good option. Closer and about as cheap as LAX

A tough game for sure coming up but imagine being able to talk Sweet 16 for 4 or 5 more days? And I'm sure Nate will have a game plan that gives us a great chance of winning. He is a terrific coach (not new news).

I want that sweet sixteen so bad so I can see my Bulls live here in LA.

I'm still putting my place up for anyone that comes out for the games here in Anaheim.

Okay...fair enough....I've just never seen them play before, but I'm pretty sure they are VERY athletic...where, TTU is just more of a "grind it out" type of team.

And, honestly, I really havent seen the Bulls play, either, but you did have that one early win (against KU, I believe) that caught my attention early in the season.

It was West Virginia, lol. KU is too scared to play us 😉

    And...why is that???

But, wish you guys the best, and if your guys do win...I hope you beat UM...or whoever you play.

I think it's because you guys seem to have a lot more depth than Michigan. Plus I think your defense might work better against our offense than Michigan.

Hey Bulls fans...looking forward to a great game on Sunday.  Looks like your team is predicated on offense, while TTU is built around defense.

Hey RR fan! Looking forward to this game. Good luck to you as well. I hope for a good game. I actually fear you guys more than Michigan, so I'm hoping we can put everything together in one game.

ASU fan here, just decided to check out your board.  Much like ours, lots of confidence on their own team winning on Friday.

One thing I will say, this game should be easy to call within the first 3-5 minutes of the game.  We are either engaged or not, and there is ZERO in-between.  Predicting ASU games is impossible and nobody should be betting on this game unless its an emotional hedge.

What to watch for from us:

    1. If we are heaving 3's in the first 3-5 minutes, that is a good sign for Buffalo

    2. If we have less than 2 assists in the first 5 minutes that is a really good sign for Buffalo (even if we are ahead). It means the team has abandoned everything its learned in practice and its time for hero ball which Remy, Dort, Cherry, Edwards LOVE to do.  Its their favorite thing, and CBH does his best to reign it in, but its tough.

    3. If Buffalo has at least 2 completely open 3 pt looks in the first 3-5 minutes (regardless of success), that is a great sign for you. Our 3pt D is awful, and we allow some a lot of uncontested 3's.

    4. FT Shooting: some games weve gone 25-33, like last night, others we have gone 15-31.  We are yet to put back-to back strong FT games together, which bodes well for UB.

if you guys press Remy/Dort we are in trouble, as we really can only rely on Remy as our sole ball handler and overall best player and he is at about 60%.

Welcome! I certainly hope it's a good game tomorrow. Dort was impressive, so if he has a game like that tomorrow, it should be a solid game. Awesome analysis, thanks 🙂

Hurley means a lot to all of us, helping UB turn the corner. Not to mention he gave us our savior, Oats 😆

    Good luck tomorrow

I saw this yesterday on the news and was intrigued by this:

"And the school measures what's called "total reach." Basically, UB looks at all media that is done about it to see how many eyes are looking at UB -- and the calculation on that was 1.5 billion people this year -- up from more than 500 million people a year ago."

60% of which was us checking the news reports everyday for new articles, haha

But the thing there was everyone wanted us to slay a blue blood. We’re less established than either of our potential opponents but we are no longer the underdogs, so this will be interesting.

Trying to be objective I’d still think neutrals would pull for us. We’re fun to watch and have a great team/staff.

I agree Prush. This will be interesting to see how it looks for us. And just fyi, this is Tim Ames, we graduated together 🙂

So getting a 6 seed with a play in game team means they were essentially #21 or #22.  I think that's a little low, but also pretty fair.  It's worse than their NET, but UB only has 1 win over a tournament team, which probably hurt them.  I think they should have been a 5 seed, but I think 6 is ok and they have a good matchup and path forward.  As a 6 seed they wouldn't meet Gonzaga until the Elite Eight.

I know it's not the best to have Buffalo playing out west. It kind of shafts the fan base. I'm personally excited to see them get to the second weekend because I like about 25 minutes from Anaheim! Anyone who want's to book a flight, you are welcome to stay at my place for the game.

That's debatable whether it really would have made a difference.  UB's net ranking was 15.  I mean, if they don't lose to NIU their ranking is what?  12? 13?.  If the committee can ignore a 15 they can ignore a 12 or 13.

Also, last year they were in Boise and still had some fans.

There was a lot of fans in the stands for that one. I was one of them! I'm sure the Bulls fans will come out from every nook and cranny to get there.
