Over their last seven games the Bulls have had three games in which they shot under 20% from 3. Please get tough in the paint and limit the bombs away mentality tonight.

I mean, I'm kind of with you, but we shouldn't give up on attempting the 3s because when we are hitting them, we're kind of unstoppable.

We can be tough in the paint AND shoot the 3s. I feel confident in the guys to have the understand that when the 3s aren't falling, it's time to hit the paint.

  2. I almost feel like this officiating staff was worse than the NIU game. even though we won, I do not want to win on the basis that half of the other team's players are out on fouls. the mack really needs to take a look at the three officials from this game and determine if they should even be refereeing.

Outside of that, awesome win. Harris was Harris, Perkins dominated the paint, and Caruthers was a beast. If they play this good through the rest of their games, this could be a really hard out for those top seeds

This game must have been very distracting!!  I had to read your post several times to figure it out...

    It was incredibly distracting, haha.

What I meant was, Saint Marys put together an amazing game and shows how to effectively dismantle a #1 seed. The biggest thing they did was only give Gonzaga 1 shot on the offensive end each time up the floor. Hunter was a machine down low and it is so important that Perkins asserts his will down low.

Also, as much as our boys take shots early in the shot clock, if we find ourselves against a 1, we need to make sure to eat up some of that clock on the offense. We can't always run and gun because I feel like that would not be the best thing on every offensive possession against a UNC or Virginia.

Alright guts enough this damn negativism!!! Bullieve! And to show you that I am not blowing smoke I am told by someone who listened to Nate’s interview earlier this afternoon with Jim Rome that Nate said he wants to make UB like Gonzaga. It also sounded like he had no plans to go anywhere. I don’t have the time now but maybe someone does to locate the interview online and post it here.

Nate has said in almost every interview I've watched that he has no plan of leaving. I fully bullieve he is going to stay and become our Mark Few.

    Go Bulls!

Every conference change I have ever read on this board is either delusional, dumb, far fetched or a combination of all 3.  So I want in.

    the conference with no name

UCONN, UB and UMASS joins the BE.  All three enter a scheduling agreement for football.  Army joins said scheduling agreement for football for a home basketball game every year.  We got 4 football games.  Temple sees this happen and wants in.  We have five games.  Now basketball schools can play basketball in a BB forward conference and football independence is not so scary (plus olympics for all parties are now still local ish).   And the BE already gets paid better than the American without football anyway.  (And their new TV deal minus UCONN and now maybe Temple is now crap). Who knows? Maybe Memphis wants in?  We sell our own football rights to the local channels (aka the locals actually get to see the product! Local businesses get to advertise to a population they may actually see), side deals here and there and there is world peace.  I feel like I didn’t sell that last part enough.

    Nice fan fiction, lol

Highly unlikely the Big Ten would entertain adding a program as established as UB, and the gulf in funding would be massive.  Big East is a horrible fit for UB.  The Big East is a basketball conference of private schools.  UB is a major 30,000 student public.  UB has also committed to staying FBS in football which the Big East is not.  There is no fit there.

I think it's best to stick with the MAC and help grow the conference into a power conference. It's possible, just difficult

Lol. You are all worried about Ohio? We are going to destroy them. We aren't the underdog no more. Let them get excited.

I am on the hating Ohio train too. They are the worst. Which will make this game more fun to watch them get destroyed

I am all for being optimistic, but we've shown, ala Northern Illinois that we can get really lazy and let other teams push us around. We just need to be sharp
