New transfer commit, DE Antonio Colclough. Out of NYC and was at Temple in 2018, 4 years at JMU with a degree, last year All- CAA honorable mention season at Monmouth with 4.5 sacks.
So this is Year 7 for him??

If I’m not mistaken, Patenaude worked at ODU in 2022 so he’s probably familiar with Shields.
Good point and you are correct, he was at ODU in 2022. Perhaps he saw some things that made him feel like he could run our offense. Let's hope for the best.

Another QB in the mix out of the Portal from Old Dominion. Not stellar stats, but former 3 star recruit from Virginia. See how this plays out.

Excellent performance from UB commit Tim Oboh. Hopefully this bodes well for his future with the Bulls.
Holy crap! I don't care what level you are at, but those are impressive stat lines! Also, I'm assuming that ball he is holding is not regulation size, right? 🤣 Looking forward to seeing what he can do with our Bulls!

Also, I think this is another indictment about Mo and hopefully good news about Pete and the culture he’s creating.
I agree on both counts.

He’ll be the best linebacker on our team this year
I think Red Murdock may have something to say about that. The dude has been all over the field.

Hopefully there's no pictures of anyone on the toilet, or anyone feeling anyone's materials between their fingers.

As Seinfeld said, you are rooting for laundry.
I love Seinfeld, so I guess I’ll just root for blue.

I thought this was a nice article and love that GH3 was complimentary of Calvin and he’s leaving on a positive note and can be closer to family. Hopefully the new guy can bring something to the table:

Being a mid major is brutal rn. Gotta hope things change, but the portal is nuts.
Nuts may be a severe understatement. These mid-majors struggle to put asses in the seats. People don’t want to pay $300 for season tickets, now you ask them to shell out a few hundred a month to go to players, then those same players don’t even stay 4 years so you’re really not even rooting for individuals. If someone took this idea to the bank for financing, you would get laughed out of the facility.

Shaun was awesome. But I’d prefer Red Murdock’s athleticism to him.
I would welcome him back for depth if nothing else, but the rest of the team may not be as welcoming after he quit on them.

Just crazy how this system is. Transfer out after the season, sign somewhere, then leave out before even getting out of the current academic year. I'd imagine the D coach who was from UB, who was let go from Utah State influenced the decision, but still, this whole system is such a joke. "Good" teams just buy the best players, no players (or coaches) have the slightest bit of loyalty to a school/team ever. Just call it what it is, semi-pro sports or minor league sports, or something along those lines. This is no way student-athlete/academic driven to be bouncing around year after year, so get rid of the whole nonsense of it all, at least in football/basketball (and maybe some of the other sports, although I don't follow them as closely to know the % of transfers year over year).
I wish him the best regardless, he gave plenty to UB over the years (should've stayed however).
So I’m guessing he didn’t actually get any NIL so at best he made a lateral move to follow someone that didn’t know he was on thin ice. Poor decision making at many levels

In that instance there is less control of what happens next as they can also just walk away
Next step will be one year contracts of some sort. Might end up like the NFL and instead of scholarships just do annual contracts. That would ultimately benefit the coaches once it’s figured out, cut the dead wood and stockpile talent with no salary cap

Boom!!! Former Ohio WR Jacoby Jones Announces He’ll Transfer To UCF!!! Jones Caught 45 Passes For 776 Yards & 6 TDs in 2022
The hits just keep coming with the Portal!

Wasn’t he Canadian as well? As it stands currently international players can’t get NIL money. So a little weird.
He is indeed Canadian

Also our punter.
This one is a bit odd, but maybe there is a new punter in town that is kicking lights out or something. Are punters getting big NIL money? Lembo is a ST guy, so would be interesting to know his thoughts on this loss.

On the last day to enter the portal, we lose a big piece.
I'm guessing Isaiah is going to get some cash. Tough loss, but if you can get a pay day and you are borderline NFL talent, take what you can get, hopefully it's a P5 program that will actually have him play.

One QB has exited stage left...
Can't blame him, he wasn't going to be the guy here. I hope he finds a place he can play and flourish.

March was the bag, Hodgson was the bag man, and Oats was the man. I hate to share that even our success at a relatively humble level of CBB was not as innocent as it appeared.
There is little doubt about that

Any idea on when merch will be available? And what they mean by merch
No idea when available but probably tees, hats, polos and sweatshirts to start with the collective logo. I would assume part of the cost would go to the collective
