It’s boring, bland, undisciplined, uninspired and unprepared basketball, and maybe the worst part is they can’t even outrun the defense on the fast break. The benefit of the Oats teams was even if the shots weren’t falling you knew that the pace of place would eventually wear out the other team. That doesn’t happen with this iteration of the Bulls. There’s no team identity. It’s so disheartening.

Canisius is legitimately one of the worst teams in D1 but go ahead and tell me we are ready to win the MAC because our best team ever lost to NIU on their home court 

I don’t want to ever hear anyone defend this staff again 

It was a tall order to visit WKU knowing your best player isn’t suiting up. Credit to the coaching staff in having these guys ready to face this situation tonight.

This is the bottom line - the Whitesell hire has been a catastrophic failure. Not only did it stifle program momentum but he’s completely wasted the potential of some very talented players he inherited.

Awful start to the half for Mballa. Terrible offensive possession followed by a lazy defensive possession resulting in a foul.

He lacks Watt’s defense that allowed him to get so many minutes early in his career, but he has good instincts offensively and can take a defender off the dribble. I’m obviously critical of Whitesell but I am optimistic that guys like Jones, Skogman, and Mading can be quality recruits.

Skogman is not Mitchell Watt, but he moves and plays a lot like him 

Bona is an excellent team with an excellent coach. I’ll be rooting for UB but these programs are clearly in different places at the moment.

Really disappointed in their effort tonight. If they get out scored so be it but they are getting out hustled by a significant margin and that’s unacceptable.

Weird. I had no issue with Flohoops when I subscribed for a month last year but sounds like I got lucky. 

That game reminded me a lot of UB’s round of 32 game vs Kentucky. Ohio played well in the first half more or less matching Kentucky blow for blow but Kentucky just consistently scored and overwhelmed them in the second half.

Sorry I think you’re right, I had them confused with Western Kentucky which is a home and home series.
