Ah the perks of being a public employee
QuoteIn addition to his annual base salary, Halcovage will earn additional compensation of $100,000 in his first season as head coach, a total that will increase by $10,000 each year through the 2026-27 season, and then stay at $140,000 for the final year of the contract.
Halcovage's annual compensation for the first four seasons of his contract will be $425,000 from March 30, 2023 to March 29, 2024; $435,000 for 2024-25, $445,000 for 2025-26 and $455,000 for 2026-27. His total annual compensation for the 2027-28 season will be $465,000.
That's a pretty solid deal.

Question answer between Steve Tasker and Josh Allen was good last night. Somewhere around 3000 students and you would have thought that they are all Bills' fans. Hopefully they all show up this fall and are as loud as they were last night.
They will, for the Bills 😅

Yea, if this is truly problematic it needs to be address yesterday. If not, do some damage control PR to set the record straight. Either way moving forward without acknowledgement seems like poor judgement.

I wholeheartedly disagree with this. Every major institution holds their athletic alums in high regard and they roll out the red carpet in any way that they can to support them - including stuff like TBT. Just look at what Syracuse, Wichita State, and Dayton had for their teams in TBT last year. They pony up cash and their fans come out in droves. Meanwhile, we hold out because we want to earn a couple thousand bucks in profit for using the facility.
If that isn't the case and it's truly about Air Conditioning, can the school just come out and say that? Our PR has been a friggin' nightmare for the past month and a simple statement explaining the details would clear a lot of this mess up. Either way, it's still amateur hour with Alnutt in charge.
This.
UB is all over TBT when Blue Collar U is winning. They just want to sit back and reap the benefits of the team's success without looking into a more active relationship. Hopefully Coach H continues to communicate the value of an alumni network of players and this changes.

Sorry lost track of where we put transfers from other (former) MAC players. Ali Ali of Butler is transferring again.
would assume he's transferring "back down"

Idk if this got posted yet, probably has but I’m too lazy to check. Bryson Wilson committed, what do we think?

Now the team account is bulk posting commitments. I really wish there was some clarity around what is happening with this program...

Ok, I'll split some of these off to the portal thread in recruiting.

Let’s focus on the guys that have committed and the guys who are here, rather than desperately following the portal guys. It’s a bad look.
I'm not sure how "desperate" it is lol I consider these guys potential roster guys until they aren't?

Didn't realize this was paywalled... i'm assuming he enjoyed his visit or they wouldn't find this worth updating?

This does not sound like a first-time head coach. Every time I hear from him my confidence grows 🤘🏻
Quick note: Rattling down the whole MAC coaching roster offhand… This guy is going to have his teams READY.
