Michigan player in the portal, ST guy over his time there. Was a 3-star out of Massachusetts with many offers. 

We didn't deride our past productive transfer from a MAAC squad in Rider (Pierce - 1st Team All-MAC). We are looking at players from D2, freaking Brown, etc. If we get experienced players and they fit in our rotation, I'll take a competent PG from ANYWHERE.

Canisius board has a post with "word on campus" is Tahj Staveskie and Xzavier Long "both looking to follow Cage to UB". I always liked Tahj's game and he could/would really push Fulcher for the PG spot we need. Long rebounds well and could/would be a nice replacement for Graham, though unsure if he would just overlap with Batchelor.

Reading through the UMass forums, their fans are not looking at any rivalry yet. The general view is the midwest conference and distances, and losing A10 basketball. And they 1) often mention UConn as their dream rival 2) mention wanting Delaware to join. So we have to let a rivalry grow organically. I hold a fine grudge as we owe them back this season for beating us in 2015, and no bowl eligibilty.

KLW had a rough game, but it happens. Not all on her as she hustled just the same, and with the slow team start and defensive breakdowns. So proud of their growth after 2 years of so much roster turnover. Just left with more excitement for a super young roster and with Brianna Barr-Buday coming in we will match up even better with the Kent's and Toledo's of the league.

ESPN had Toledo as a 13 seed. If we win this have to think we would be hopefully a 14 seed, lowest seed since FLJ 1st MAC title, but we'd take it.

UB wins!!! 2nd youngest in the country and making noise in the MAC!!

Seeing this idea reminded me of years ago, at a UB Faculty Senate meeting, the topic of UB athletics came up and someone with no clue of how D1 athletics works said UB was not right for FBS and, why not join the Ivy League? Of course! The ONLY way UB would EVER consider dropping to FCS would be an Ivy invite..and 0% chance of it ever happening.

Yep, and good sign that all spring enrollees noted in December are one the roster.

Well, he is 2-0 against us as coach. If we can't beat 'em, join us. I remember how stunned I was when his Lehigh team beat us, when he was just 32.

And a good sign when South Carolina fans are sad to see him go.
