It depends upon how one sees the ceiling of the underclassmen. I think Skogman will become our version of Kevin Pittsnogle. Williamson looks like a slightly less athletic or long-armed McCrea, but should be a solid All-MAC PF. So a good future front court. Zackery will be solid if he keeps his nose clean. Near term we know what Hardnett brings. Gallion, I think, at his best, another Skeete. So the staff need a ball handler and athletic wings pronto, or we may be re-visting the Watt+McCrea and wins, but no titles, years.

Horrible recruiting hits this past year, but let's not forget when Moss was expelled and others suspended, Mikinzie dismissed, Bearden suspended and left, all under Oates. Once-suspended players have helped us to titles, so Zachery could potentially as well. Just have to see if the staff can recruit after Oats' recruits are gone, as UB92 points out. Can this staff show it can get the JUCO's, power-conference transfers, and surprise blue chips, that Hurley and Oates?

I saw one projection with Ball State and SJSU at 23 and 24, with Wisconsin at 25. I sure hope voters do not put 3 loss teams like the Badgers over us, or we have no shot.

CMU edges Ohio today, and KSU beat EMU. So UB stays tied with both at 3-0 after today's win at Miami. We were out-rebounded but hit 18-20 from the line.

A dud in recruiting when we had high hopes at guard when Chanse and Josiah Freeman both signed NIL's a year ago. Now neither are in our future plans, Zachary and Gallion are it, and I suspect we'll see quick-fix JUCO's or transfers coming in to fill in.

A lot tougher than Reese and James Jones transfers, at least they were here for more than a minute.

Roy Baker put his name in the portal today, so now wait and see his choice for his extra year, like many others.

Nothing negative meant. He liked many tweets supportive of him to keep grinding.

UB's game noted showing the depth chart hasn't changed, so we'll have our best out there. Hopefully our D can continue their MACC 2nd half performance, and the O have fixed their game call mistakes...hopefully. Lance has said JP is a go, with a rotation, so Marks should have his chances to make amends.

The same with JP and Heisman talk, just the benefit of this oddball season. Just for fun, a great ride but nothing too serious in light of so many other programs being limited. Like burning it up to start 4-0 in 2018, yet we only received 8 votes between both polls. Then crashing hard vs Army...that's what tonight felt like for me; The reality that we are a very solid MAC program, but not yet an elite G5 program.

The Kent St romp slingshotted us, just like UB beating a ranked WVU in basketball got us in the Top 25 and we rolled with it. Without that win Top 25 for a MAC team to even reach #25 is a challenge.
