I was following BGSU, Cincy blew it, BGSU kept hacking wisely because the Bearcats hit 31-55 from the line! Justin Turner went out with a hammy. BGSU has Dartmouth up next.

The game felt similar to San Fransisco last year, good opponent, some big shots and closing out in the end. While it wasn't for 1st place, 2-1 was a great outcome. UConn smoked the 'canes and Towson St looking good vs St Joe's.

Right they clinched with our loss. If we had beaten Ohio and Kent it would have been down to us beating BGSU and Miami losing to Ball St. Would have been a good chance of that.

6-5, shoulda been 8-3 (5-1) and stressing over Nov 29th game results for another East title chance. 7-5 looking very good, but Kent St will still sting..not as a long lasting sting as the Albany loss.

Will Regan may have had the best offers ever for a UB player, just did what was needed for UB and ended up a winner forever.

New heights meaning seasons of wins and bowl eligibility. Winning we havent seen since D3 mid 80's. But we need division and MAC titles soon, after what MBB and WBB has done.

Once you live through 8 years of 0-3 wins per season, like some of us saw, you can survive any UB football heartbreak. Lance and staff have taken us to new heights, but, it could become the football equivalent of Reggie. Good to very good years, 1 Division title, a huge letdown after a big MAC championship game lead. Lance has to clean up the mistakes or he is headed that way. We need him to be our own Rod Carey or Brian Kelly.

In the Gill years we didnt see Gill lose big leads, only once in '08 when we were up 21-6 on WMU and lost.

I think it would not have hurt to start on the road. Too tight at home and, true, we underestimated our opponent. I was among those who believed we are deeper than recent years. But game one showed we have a lot more to develop. Last 2 seasons in poor-shooting starts, Perk would get us going with post up baskets, Dontey would spark us with a tough charge, D and transition would bring some easier points. Not just chuck 3's and hope the other side starts missing.

Big week overall for Dartmouth with this road win, and as they, Utah, and UC-Santa Cruz joined the AAU.

Watched some Kent St @ Toledo tonight, little D in Toledo winning 35-33, Kent St missed on a 2 pt try late. Over 900 yards of offense, and Toledo had 30 1st downs vs Kent St's 19. Good news for us on offense if our D shuts these teams down.

It is surprising how beating 5 win CMU did not push us into bowl talk, but a dominating road win at 4-4 EMU did. All three phases of our team are playing solidly.

I take solice the the fact after our 1st MAC title, they then picked us to finish 4th with only Bearden All-MAC. That one vote for a UB title knew the truth. Hopefully it strikes again in 2020.
