Some good news 6’0” wing Emerita Mashaire has taken her name out of portal and returned to the team. This is great news bringing back more size and experience is a good thing for this team. With the portal closing this weekend I’m guessing the 2023-24 roster is set.

Looks like Maddison Heiss staying on the east coast committing to Wofford which is in SC.

The current roster is very intriguing. There is a mix of international players,size, speed and athleticism. Looking forward to see how Coach B gets them to gel over the summer and fall. If last years team over performed by all accounts with what sic players or something like that. What can she do with this new group and depth?

Looking at last years conference record 7-11 was it due to a lack of ability to match up speed/size wise? I see a mention of a injury so I'm guessing depth was a problem as well?

So baring any enrolment eligibility issues the 2023-2024 roster is set along with the coaching staff. I have no context to compare this years roster to last years I'm new fan of UBWBB. So for those that do what are your thoughts?

If the coaches who left aren’t saying why they left and niether is Coach B. The AD has not indicated there is a H.R. issue with the coaches leaving or with the coach B. The players that chose to decommitt are not providing explanations to their decision and neither is Coach B. What exactly do we want? Coach seems to have turned the page and put together a solid team. Won’t know until the fall for sure but the roster today looks good compared to others in conference.

Looking at the 2023 class as it stands here and now it looks very competitive. Alexis Davis 6' W - Woodbury NJ #9 state # 1 Position lead the state in rebounding, averaging over 25 PPG and 20 RPG 21 games for the Thundering Herd. Kirsten Lewis-Williams 5'10 PG Lake Norman HS NC #5 State #1 Position Lead state in FTs made 203 18th in AST5.5 20.6PPG RPG 8.8 APG 5.5 SPG 4.1 AST:TO3.2 Finalist for Ms. Basketball NC Ella Take 6'G/W Capital Courts Academy CA Pauala Lopez 5'8" PG Spain Team has lots of height probably the biggest team in the MAC, athletic and deep. So looks to me if the team gels like all teams over the summer and into the fall this team is built to compete.

From the outside looking in the current roster has depth (12) and size 6 six ft or taller.
