  1. Well...heres where things stand this morning after last nights games. Both Miami & Kent State are tied at 3-4. Miami is the fourth place team because of their head to head against Kent. SO.........UB wins 2 & BG wins against Ohio......it goes to tiebreakers for sure. IF THE TIEBREAKER RULES ARE TO BE UNDERSTOOD (Again its conviluted and no real good explanation) Since the head to heads for Ohio vs BG vs UB dont break the tiebreaker, next would go to record against the 4th place team. That would be Miami regardless, after yesterdays results.....all three beat Miami.....so it goes down to the 5th place team Kent State. Only UB (again they have to beat Kent State to finish the season) the other two both lost to Kent, so UB wins the East and Detroit. BUTTTTTT...... Question for the room.......With this storm coming.......unless the game is played as is scheduled.....anything the MAC tries to do with this game potentially screws over UB yet again.....just like in 2014 and the Kent State Equipment truck fiasco. If they outright cancel it....its screws up UB's division record. If they try to postpone....it puts UB on a really short week going into a potentially very important game. Can they force a forfeit by Akron (game means nothing for them). How firm can/should UB be with the MAC? Thoughts?
  2. Kent State Equipment truck......Where are you????? Kind of Funny, Akron now has a chance to prove theyre better at Winter driving and (GPS) than their sworn enemies. Any way......So your telling me theres still a chance at Detroit? YES If we're to understand MAC Tiebreaks correctly, that's assuming the MAC even understands them themselves (which is high doubtful)......three way tie with Ohio, BG, and UB is still possible and if things go correctly in these three games.....puts UB in the MAC Championship. 1 & 2. UB must beat Akron & Kent State 3. BG has to beat Ohio next week. Rourke hurt his knee lastnight and is scheduled for an MRI to access the damage. If this happens......Ohio, BG, and UB all finish the season with a conference record of 6-2. Head to head tiebreaker merry-go-round doesnt seperate them (ohio beat UB, BG beat Ohio, UB beat BG) Next tiebreaker is head to head vs. the fourth place team. Currently, Kent State. Heres where things get crazy though. Kent is 3-3 and Miami is 2-4. Both play tonight. EMU @ Kent, Miami @ NIU. Before I go further.....allow for the games tonight to happen before we proceed further. It will be easier to explain once these games are done to know where things stand.
  3. Why would someone even want to go to the last 2 games after that? Asking for a friend.
  4. I’m perplexed how you let a QB that is absolutely no threat to throw the ball, run at will all over you and make no adjustments. your literally stealing your paycheck at that point. mo/ d - coordinator???? answers??
  5. Embarrassing disgusting nauseating putrid awful humiliating dumpster fire shit show garbage shameful
  6. Man to man everyone else stack the box
  7. I really wish there was more of a following locally from the media to put some tough questions to MO post game, instead of softball, slap you on the ass, oh shucks like he usually gets
  8. Simple….assuming that CMU wouldnt make adjustments coming out at half and that everything that was working on the first half would keep working. And allowing some scrawny QB that isn’t a threat to throw the ball to run right through them and haven’t been able to figure out how to stop him for a quarter and a half now. and forgot how to tackle and decided field goals are good enough to win games
  9. Put 8 guys in the box and dare this little asshole to throw it
  10. I’m glad they played for a field goal on that last drive…..dinosaur football
  11. Yea….because Snyder had been the problem this half. and nothing to do with Brontosaurus Montgomery calling the plays Actually I shouldn’t say calling the plays….it’s the lack of adjustment
  12. Why would we have leaders on this team??? They’re just here until they can make a play for themselves and then enter the transfer portal. They don’t play for each other anymore.
  13. To a freaking QB that is no threat to pass at all
  14. They literally look clueless. I think they came out at half and thought they could keep doing what they were doing and not even try to tween it at all. it’s disgusting
  15. Dinosaur football run run pass punt
  16. Now they’re even im not sure where the MAC finds these garbage officials
  17. Gee…..I wonder if that eff up by the refs at the end of the half will have any bearing on the game
  18. You just literally watched them pop off a 75 yarder. Then you come out and run it twice up the gut. Then don’t even run a third down pass play where the routes even get to the sticks.
  19. Lol….unbelievable. I really wish that our offensive coordinator wasn’t a dinosaur
  20. I assume CMU is going to start bringing up guys to stop the run, which means UB receivers are going to need to do some work. hopefully UB is ready to adjust on the fly
  21. So yea…..typical……totally muck up the call……then tried to get out of it gracefully.
  22. You have got to be kidding me…..
  23. Honestly….the CMU touchdown should have been reviewed to….I really think his knees were down at the 1 before he crossed.
  24. Let me get this straight. you can put the ball on the turf, have it roll around on the ground, and as long as your looking at it…..wait….think about recovering it….that retains possession? MAC Officials….know how to MAC officiate
  25. Have to put the loss to Ohio behind them and get back to the winning ways at CMU on Wednesday. It seems CMU is having a down year, so UB should be a slight favorite, however it is the last away game, midweek MACtion, so they still have to show up and take care of business. As for the East Division, rooting interests: real simple Of course, of most importance, UB has to win Ideally....We're rooting for Ohio losses, SO we want Ohio to lose @Miami on Tuesday night. Big Rivalry game for these two. This would put Ohio again one game behind UB Next...also on Tuesday, if Ohio wins, we next need Ball State to win @ Toledo. Ball State is the next opponent for Ohio, and Ball State needs to stay in the West Division Race for them to have extra motivation when they take on Ohio. By beating Toledo, they would have the West Division lead with the Head to Head Tiebreaker. A Ball State loss eliminates them from contention. Then, on Wednesday, we also need Bowling Green to stay in the MAC East race until their final game against Ohio. UB, Ohio, and BG are all sitiing at 4-1. So we need them to keep pace by beating Kent State at home. Simply.....UB has to win.....Ohio needs to lose.....and Ohio's opponents have to continue to have something to play for when they end up facing Ohio in the weeks following.
