  1. Transfer portal changes this completely. You can get your guys in now. Progress in 1 or 2 years. Results in 2 or 3
  2. Okay enjoy the NIL budget at Youngstown State
  3. TBN confirms Cohen and McCollum turned it down. Then Calhoun is unconfirmed but likely
  4. Do you think when the football team tries to sell a recruit on UB the recruit is going to be fine with the stadium that is worse than his high school’s in Texas because he’s getting a little extra money to pick UB?
  5. Infrastructure can mean a lot of things. We were decent in facilities and budget/resources 4 years ago https://watchstadium.com/mac-college-basketball-coaches-rank-the-best-jobs-in-the-conference-01-10-2019/amp/ I don’t care about NIL I want that money going towards ripping up the track
  6. I thought Cohen was going to take the job if offered? What happened?
  7. Which Twitter space was that? Interested in listening to it
  8. Skeete 100%. For a period of time he was the only player that played his entire college basketball career for UB. Saw more coaching changes than most would put up with these days.

  10. It sounds like a joke but I'm entirely serious. The cost to ship it 30 minutes is probably expensive, but less than what it would cost to ship to Brookings or wherever Daktronics would store it. I also agree that the used board is probably worth something, but I think the cost of whatever video board UB would buy to replace the Zenith would be more than the residual value of the Bills video boards (located in Orchard Park) plus the cost to transport them 30 minutes north to UB.
  11. Yep, know that feeling. https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/boxscores/2019-01-22-20-northern-illinois.html
  12. That possession looks like an exaggeration of the unselfish offense we ran under Oats. 16.6 assists per game his last two seasons. NW Missouri St had 14 per game this year, but a much slower pace.
  13. The Bills are getting a new stadium. In the current stadium, there are four large video boards: 33.5 foot by 164 foot video board, installed in 2014 2x 33.5 foot by 60 foot video boards, also installed in 2014 14.5-foot by 191.5-foot video board, installed in 2007 As of now, the Bills video board is one of the oldest in the NFL. The Cowboys (2009), Washington (2010, new boards being installed now), Jets/Giants (2010), Titans (2012), and Texans (2012) are the only teams that have an older scoreboard. The 49ers, Eagles, and Cardinals also had their displays installed in 2014. By the time the new stadium is finished in 2026, the old stadium's video board will be 12 years old and likely obsolete by NFL standards. There has not been an announcement as to what the video boards will be in the new stadium, but it's likely they won't be the existing ones. The video board at UB Stadium is old enough to drive this fall, and is useful for seeing absolutely nothing. Attempting to watch a replay, which the 2007 video board was equipped to handle, is impossible and you would be better off pulling out your phone and watching ESPN+. The state of New York gave a private university $20 million for stadium renovations, but nothing for us. However the Bills stadium is set to be given to the State of New York once the new stadium is built. How can we get these old video boards to Amherst? Tripathi is on the Board of Directors for the Erie County Stadium Corporation (PDF). A rough render of what this would look like for the largest of the video boards. The shorter but longer one could be installed along one of the sidelines or in the 300's for out of town scores. The two smaller ones could be installed in the south end zone corners.
  14. Agreed. I like winning above anything else game-related. I like a fast pace and would rather lose with it than lose with a slow pace Fast also gets a slight bump for the “Can you run with the bulls?” phrase
  15. My displeasure with this number would be alleviated with winning. Run whatever pace you want if it gets us in the win column.
  16. There’s a contingent of UMass fans on Twitter that want(ed) him for their program. We will right the two wrongs of their athletics administration and bring him into the MAC.
  17. Where would pace rank or is that beyond the scope of their stats software?
  18. I don’t know what this means but maybe you can ask Niagara to schedule UB in MBB because they seem to be ducking us recently
  19. He was on campus 5/6/21, it was announced the following day.
  20. I want him to succeed because he was a part of one of our greatest basketball teams ever. But I hope we do better, both for our team’s success and if somebody’s keeping track.
  21. The FDU coach wasn't there for a full year. Oats was here for a bit longer
  22. Limited data since he didn't have a lot of people transfer out but Ryan Hawkins transferred to Creighton for his final year of eligibility and was their leading scorer for a R32 team. Trevor Hudgins is in the G League. So he likely has some talent already on his roster.
  23. I will accept somebody who has a .28 National Championship / Season ratio
