Not having this at Alumni or even Buffalo State/ECC is embarrassing. I’m actually pissed. How do you win this whole thing and not capitalize on it?

Turner Battle maybe? Why not? He’s paid his dues. I doubt he’d turn down the offer.

Since when are offers in the news to candidates anyway? Offers are done behind the scenes, one by one. We hear only when the initial hiring takes place. 

The more this drags on the more I think we are on our 4th or 5th choice as the first 3 have said no thanks. I don’t think this is due diligence this is striking out. I believe this happened last time we did a coach search.

If Niagara and Syracuse win, that would be a nice match up In round 2.

Yooo who’s left? Haha the more players leave the better the new coach has to be at recruiting. Wonder if there is an assistant somewhere out there at a top program, in a high major conference, maybe even has some history with UB in the past and maybe even is from the Western NY area that we can hire? Wonder if there’s a coach like that out there?

It’s all about recruiting that is why it should be Hodgson or….a flashy name that was once a NBA player, NCAA star player or formerly successful head coach looking to get back in the game. 

Bold. I like this. Can’t except mediocrity after the success we had prior to Whitesell. Hodgson or Jerry Macnamara should get serious consideration. Go Bulls!

It’s time to move on. Get a new coach. Why wait another 1-2 years of mediocrity under this coach? Start now.

Just need to score more. We are getting shots pretty easily but need to make them. 

We have to find a way to get into the Pin Stripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium and to play against Syracuse. And when the new Bills stadium opens host Notre Dame or some big ten school. 

Honest question, does the winner of this bowl get more money or something else? I know about the trophy, telling recruits we went to a bowl game plus winning and the exposure on ESPN but how does this win benefit us right now?

The refs were horrible. Seems like they had a game plan to get our best player in foul trouble early on with both Jones and Powell. That killed our focus and momentum. Hope UB got paid well from WVU for scheduling this game. 

Raindrops from the big fella. Maybe we can get him through the portal next year.

I just don’t see anything that stands out from Curtis so far in my opinion. He just seems average and I don’t know what the hype is about.
