This might have been answered before but can Graves come back for another year? Is that even possible? If yes, I think it could help his stock if we got into the tournament and if he just gets another year of college basketball. 

The whole point of this thread should be what happens next? Will any players leave this summer? The prior 2 coaches Hurley and Oats had a strong pipeline of recruits which got us excited for the future. What about now though and can we keep the winning tradition going? We’ll see.

I think a head coaching gig at a winning mid-major like Buffalo  is better than an assistant job or an NBA assistant job. If he is successful, he then gets back to P5 no guarantee being an assistant gets him there again.

You mean he used to make $2 million. He got canned and will be looking for any opportunity to bounce back and won’t be getting any P5 offers. Buffalo would look like a dream job to him

They should hire Wojciechowski who was just let go by Marquette. Get a big name.

Don't want to get ahead of ourselves, but if we get to the tournament we will be a tough match up for that 4 seed. We can run with any team outside of Gonzaga in my opinion. The spread will be under 10. Again let's win tonight and enjoy another selection Sunday.  

I bet he’d be a good get for Niagara or Canisius...but since we are talking recruiting, what is going on? Are we adding anyone via transfer, juco or high school? Seems like with Oats and Hurley we had recruiting updates a few times a month now barely anything. 

Would have liked to see them add Javon Mccrae. And from a pure basketball talent standpoint Moss, Bearden and Evans but they kinda left under not the best of terms for their own reasons.

Either Whitesell has no idea how to run a set play at the end of a game or he did but our players play one on one and don’t listen to him. Either way this is troubling and disappointing for sure.

Saw that he is leaving George Washington and looking at transfer options. Could Buffalo be a fit? He could step in for Graves. Thoughts?

I smell bs. Boeheim knows UB is getting better and can recruit good players now. He can't take another chance at playing Buffalo and see it being close. We aren't Le Moyne College that can help stack his win total. A loss or close win by Cuse looks poorly on Boeheim by the Cuse alumni who see Buffalo as a walk over. But the good news is, Boeheim won't be coaching for that much longer. What is he 85 now? But he is still chasing the all-time coaching win total. He needs to retire.

Anyone know if the Syracuse game will be on TV? I don’t see anything online saying it’s carried by ESPN or CBSSN

We have no killers on this team. Charmin soft. 

After watching the 1st half, I think Williams need to be benched. Every time he gets passed the ball, he goes 1 on 3 and has tunnel vision. He does not pass the ball but just automatically drives against 2 or 3 players. If we can get back about 6 of those empty possessions we could be up 6 at half time. 

A bit unrelated and prob too soon but what are the chances Patterson comes back for his Senior year and most of the line returns? The QBs will be back. I’m thinking with the lack of a full season to show Patterson’s full potential and opportunity to boost his draft stock closer to the first round, he could stick around for next year. Thoughts?

I still don't understand how the Syracuse game can't be in Buffalo this year. If it was ever going to be at Alumni Arena it is now. Covid means no fans and fans/money was the reason Syracuse won't play in Buffalo. So what happened this year?

Why can’t Syracuse ever come to alumni? This has to be the best time for them to come to Buffalo since fans are not part of the equation so why not have it on UB’s home court?

How does West Virginia look this year?

This is great news. He can ball. We are still recruiting at a high level and the best in the MAC. Hopefully one day we get to move to a bette conference but in the meantime be a powerhouse and own the MAC.
