I agree. We are better than this and should be better than this. I expect better than this. This is pathetic. When we play those two high school teams I don’t wanna see alley oops…I wanna see offensive sets being run. Over and over. Michigan is running a clinic on fundamental screens, cuts, high/low action. It’s a clinic

Jim coaches the way Nate did, give the boys freedom and play good defense. Well, defensively they look bad, and every jump shoot has been off balance and sloppy. If we could get this game within 10, I take that as a victory at this point.

Yea they are #6 and to expect an upset is silly but outside of a few possessions this is terrible offensive basketball. Michigan defense isn’t doing anything special. Players look lost on offense and are rushing forced 3s. Michigan’s offense at the moment…can’t miss.

They are better than this and I refuse to think otherwise. The game plan here, there hasn’t been one. They are better than this.

From Howard's interview, sounds like rebounding is not a strength of theirs, perhaps that can be our edge. Need to have a solid inside game to go with our outside shooting.

Second chance points is a big strength, guards who are able to rebound and forward who can get a second chance for a put back. It’s going to be interesting.

This season is officially over for me. Mo gets a mulligan. He gets judged on next year and forward.

I wouldn’t even judge him next year because people he will recruit most likely won’t develop until a red shirt year and then a year of some play time. Patience is of the essence.

Pundits seem to have their eyes on this game.

I'm honestly not holding my breath for an upset here to open the season. What I want to see is some of our older players step up as on-court leaders and for the team to play with grit and composure. If we come out deer-in-headlights then I think we'll expect a slow-progression throughout the year that hopefully catalyzes by MAC Tournament time.

Everyone’s favorite weirdo will be watching most likely.
